This is the one
I never write reviews, but I seriously appreciate how easy it was to set this computer up. After setting up the computer it gives the option to make another log in for kids! I made one easily, hasn't negatively impacted or gotten in the way of anything. I also really appreciate how easy it was to connect my printer. I have never had a printer. I am loving HP and glad I looked at reviews before making the purchase. VERY pleased.

I am impressed. The computer connected to the old one thru WIFI and captured all of the data and info.

Failed hard drive, cost over $100 to return for refund
It is a nice looking computer though the base takes up too much room on the desktop and the power button is located so that anytime you try to adjust you computer screen it powers off. All things I could have worked around, however the hard drive failed after about 20 days of use with no way to reset or wipe it before return. I processed the return through Amazon and paid for UPS to come pick it up (twice, because I didn't print the label in color the first time and it got returned, so I had to pay for it to be picked up again, I'll take the blame for that) then I waited to be refunded. After two weeks I contacted the seller through Amazon and the refund was processed within 48 hours, however I was charged a restock fee of $118. If I had known I would get charged such a high restock fee for the return of a faulty item I probably would have just kept it and brought it in to be fixed locally. I've since bought a new computer, avoiding the HP brand and this seller. An expensive lesson to learn.

Warranty null and void
The computer is great. Easy to setup, used October to transfer settings. applications, and files to new computer. When I went to hp.com to register computer it showed buy date of April 2024 and warranty up at end of this month. Contacted hp and they informed me computer had been opened and additional memory installed, so warranty null and void. Definitely not buying any high end devices from Amazon again.
