QUICK READ AND ACCURATE RESULTS

I recently ran into some issues with my central air conditioner. Instead of opting to pay $5-$10k for a fix or replacement, I chose to get through this summer with portable units. I’m beginning to fear that may have been unwise. Anyway, I now have a number of portable air conditioners throughout the house, and I wanted to keep track of the temperature and humidity in each room. That helps me adjust the settings on each unit as needed. Putting these side by side, I got readings that were within a degree or two, if not exact. That’s good enough for me. Nothing seems to be exact anyway. That includes my central HVAC thermostat readings for temperature and humidity as well as the readings from several of my portable units that have remote and APP readings. The bottom line is that these work well enough. You just have to be a little patient and let them acclimate to whatever space you put them it. It takes a while for the readings to adjust to the new space. I thought about getting the ones with Bluetooth, but the reviews seemed to indicate all sorts of problems with them. Fortunately, I have WIFI cameras throughout the house, and I positioned these in locations that are in the view of the cameras. I just check my cameras to keep track of the readings. I know, ingenious! 😁 I ended up getting a couple of more of these, and I would definitely recommend them!
