Can this be used to organize your wrench and sockets?

Yes but youll need a socket rack if you don't have one already. I put one in my mine and it works great. Main thing for wrenches is get a liner so everything doesn't slide around.

Does this come already put together?

Yes, the tool box comes fully assembled, but since the drawers are steel, you might want to consider getting a roll of rubber drawer lining which can be cut to fit to keep tools from sliding around.
