However, even though I had ordered this perm a few months ago and received it with no problems, I ordered it again recently and when I got it, the box the perm was in inside the mailing container was damaged due to the lid on the bottle of neutralizer was loose and the majority of that solution had spilled out inside the package making the perm unusable. The first time I ordered the perm, it was packaged inside a box, the second order came in a mailing envelope and I believe that was the reason for the solution leaking. The company sending these out for mailing should consider packaging these better in order that they are received with no problems. I was disappointed it arrived the way it did, but even though Amazon says no refund on this return, after I called, explained the situation together with a picture, the company did graciously issue a full refund. Absolutely no problem with using this particular perm, just the way it was mailed creating the problem. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Blowout look *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2021* I have African/European mixed medium-sized curls and I used this to straighten my hair. I can't use any lye relaxers as the gentlest ones are too harsh on my scalp. Mind you that I did not use rollers. It doesn't give you the bone straightness on tightly curly hair but it gives you the blowout look that is slightly smoother/straighter than the acid perms.
