An Excellent Robot Vacuum
I remember the first-generation robot vacuums that could only clean one room in a random pattern, avoiding obstacles by bumping into them. This robot maps the entire floor, systemically cleans every spot it can reach in a grid format, mops hard floors, then empties the dust and dirty water into its base station, lastly cleaning and drying the mops. It will even play music if you want! The main advantages are:- Samsung build quality, unlike almost every other robot vacuum that are from Chinese companies.- Great vacuuming, doing a more thorough job than I would.- Mopping.- Can store multiple maps, e.g. upstairs and downstairs.- Easy to use app.- Can play music while cleaning.- Can be used as a security device, monitoring the house through the front cameras via the app.- Uses cameras and lidar to avoid obstacles.- Has a sensor to detect drops, i.e. it won't fall down stairs!Limitations:Like every other robot vacuum it can't move furniture, open doors or clean stairs, yet ;-)Rugs - robots will push loose rugs, so I fixed my rug with an anti-slip underlay, which solved the issue.Long hair or long pile carpets could possibly cause issues by getting wrapped around the side brush motor, but if ever the side brush reports an obstruction, remove the brush and any hairs found underneath, then put the brush back. The side brush bristles gradually get bent - just remove the brush and run it under hot water and it will straighten again.Overall, I am very happy with the Samsung Vacuum, it means the house is now cleaned more often and saves me a chore. Now we just need a robot to do the dusting as well :-)

Smart, intuitive, and surprisingly quiet
I’ve been using this for a month, and I’m genuinely impressed. In terms of hardware, it performs similarly to other top-tier robot vacuums — it cleans about 90% of my home efficiently. Like most, it’s not perfect along the edges, but it’s still one of the best options on the market. What really sets it apart is the software. The interface is user-friendly and intuitive. Dividing rooms on the map, adding furniture, setting different cleaning modes by room, and customizing cleaning priorities — all of it is straightforward. The smart “no-go zones” and virtual walls are especially useful. I can even set it to vacuum without mopping in specific areas and define custom start and end times. One feature I really want to highlight is the quiet mode. It’s quiet enough that I can comfortably enjoy TV shows or make calls while it’s running — something I’ve rarely experienced with other robot vacuums. The built-in camera is another bonus. I occasionally use it as a quick home monitor when I’m away, which adds an extra layer of convenience.Overall, no regrets — it’s made my routine easier and more pleasant.

Defective
I am having so many issues with my Jet Bot Combo AI. It looks nice, the features sound great and for the short time things work it does a good job, but it simply cannot be relied upon.I have a schedule set for 23:00 every night, the plan is it'll complete the clean and head back to charge when my electric is cheap. But most mornings I come down and the vacuum has got stuck somewhere and not made it back to the base. This means it hasn't emptied the dustbin or cleaned its mops. When you then place it on charge, it doesn't empty its bin or wash its mops.I've watched it try and return to the base when it needs a recharge, it just moves around in circles, last night I watched it for 30+ mins moving around the living room and never making it back to the kitchen where the base is before the battery died. Despite showing its location on a map, it clearly has no idea where the base station is, and only if it gets lucky will it find it so it can recharge. It struggles to get on long pile rugs and clean them, it'll get stuck on them or the side brush gets tangled and stops moving. I have it set to return to the base to drop the mop heads and then go back to clean the rugs, but it keeps going onto the rugs with its mop heads on anyway and getting stuck.Despite the claims on advanced object awareness I have still had to remove cables from it multiple times, or move it away from lamp cables after it gets stuck. It then refuses to pick up bits of soil (my cat likes to dig in my houseplants) or the loose cat litter near the litter tray because the AI must think these are objects it needs to avoid. This is my second unit. The first one repeatedly said it had a fault with a sensor and needed to be reset. I've had this second unit for around 20 days. It clearly has issues which ultimately make it less reliable and useful then the 8 year old roborock it replaced.

Premium Hardware Let Down by Glitchy Mapping
There is no denying that physically, the Jet Bot is a stunning piece of engineering. It has a sleek, premium feel, and now that the price has dropped, it is incredibly tempting. You want to love it. You want it to be the perfect companion for your home. But right now, the software just isn't letting that happen. The hardware is ready, but the mapping intelligence feels trapped. It struggles to navigate the intimacy of a smaller British home, and that is where the frustration sets in.The Main Issues:Mapping Glitches: I have had to delete and redo the maps several times. If it gets lost on its way back to the base, it is usually because the original map has glitched."Ghost" Walls: It has a hard time distinguishing furniture from structure. It sees a sofa or kitchen cabinets and treats them as solid walls rather than objects sitting in a room. The Room Size Limit: Because it thinks cabinets are walls, it shrinks the floor space in its mind. It then decides my kitchen is too small to even be classified as a "room." Why is there a minimum size restriction? If it is a room, it should be cleaned. The Bottom Line:Competitors like Eufy navigate these spaces without any of these bugs. The Jet Bot is a sleeping giant; Samsung has the hardware perfected, but they urgently need to release software updates to fix these mapping behaviors. Once they do, this will be the market leader. Until then, it is a beautiful machine waiting for a smarter mind.

Fantastic
I was hesitant buying this as I saw the negative feedback. I already tried a Dyson version which I returned as kept getting lost. I have had the Samsung vacuum for a few days now and have tried using in vacuum and mop mode. It has done a fantastic job on both vacuuming and mopping. It has not created any issues or got lost. Has avoided hazards and has worked around them. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking g for a bot vacuum.

Disappointing
On paper this product is fantastic - vacuums carpet and can also mop hard floors (indeed even vacuum and mop or vacuum then mop). It empties the dust into the main unit and swaps the dirty water for clean weather and cleans the mop head itself.BUT the software renders it quite dumb … Samsung offer a choice of cleaning pattern but it turns out the sensors aren’t smart enough for it to stop itself from bumping into things or bumping into its own unit. It also uses Samsung's "SmartThings" app which is quite clunky for lack of a better description - it's not necessarily intuitive and the setup process isn't as smooth as you'd hope. It's unfortunate they didn't offer a standalone app with SmartThing integration available for those that want that.In my case, whilst it was working away on its own, it turns out it’s managed to damage its own plastic housing and leave parts of sharp shards of plastic around the house.Samsung aren’t willing to help - citing that there’s damage and accordingly that apparently isn’t covered by their warranty. They don’t seem to appreciate the nuance that the product is a ‘robot’ with “AI” and it’s not a case of the consumer damaging it. (They seemed to accept that it may have damaged itself but were adamant that any damage renders the warranty invalid).I don’t leave reviews often but thought I’d better warn others than you risk spending over a thousand pounds for Samsung to shrug their shoulders and not seem to care at all when their product isn’t fit for purpose. Additionally, one of the magnets on the water chamber fell out - a further risk to children.I suspect they’ve rushed it to the market, not made the casing out of sufficient robust plastic (it shouldn’t be brittle) and not sufficient safeguards for it bumping into things. But it seems Samsung just don’t care. It’s a real disappointment as it promised so much!Edit - back and forth with Samsung for days and days, they eventually agreed for a repair - only for the would-be repair company to advise that they don't repair or service these vacuums. It seems Samsung don't have many, or perhaps any, repair companies set up to look at these units. Then back and forth with a 'computer says no' type approach to arranging another repair - since "damage" isn't covered by the warranty (despite already having had this argument) and them repeating that any damage renders it void.I'm genuinely disappointed with Samsung and it's changed my opinion about their brand and products generally - it seems they've simply not thought through this product and it's functions at all. Eventually, they advised that they could arrange for it to be collected and that they'd then advise how things stand once it'd been inspected (albeit their website warns of potential repair costs) ... I waited and waited on the promised collection, however, nothing materialised. I ended up returning it to the retailer as faulty as I doubt that it'll last long even if repaired and Samsung clearly don't have much faith in it with a limited two year warranty. If anyone is considered getting one of these units - please go and see one in person - look at how thin the plastic is around the sensor at the charging side of the unit and assess yourself whether that's going to be robust enough to last years.

Terrible Machine. Avoid at all costs
I will start by saying I am a Samsung person, I love the brand and have phone, tablet and every TV is a Samsung. This machine and the awful customer service has soured the brand for me.Our Jet Bot AI can mop the floors but has no ability to suck anything up, the most important part.It actually gathers dust and dirt up then dumps in places like the kitchen periodically. We contacted Samsung immediately and asked for a replacement, this seemed impossible to them, even though it is actually UK law. Their customer service eventually took it away for repair which is not what we wanted. It has arrived back from the repairer absolutely filthy, damaged, and now completely broken.Avoid buying one of these - if it doesn't work they won't help you. I am considering throwing it out and buying an alternate brand. Nightmare.
