Works great

This has proven to be quite accurate and is relatively easy to use. I like the laser beam since you can choose your target in case it's not entirely flat (i.e. if it has bump-out features that you may want to include or exclude depending on your objective). I knock one star since the UI/button labels are somewhat non-intuitive. If I don't use it for a while, it's easy to forget which button is the "off" button. Trial and error solves this quickly, but indicates that it's not completely intuitive. It also needs to be reset to ft/inches each use which is more button presses.

Went to buy one of these years ago and didn't want to pay hundreds. Saw a friend using one, so thought I'd give it a try. For the money, wow. Sure seems accurate when I compare it to a tape. When used during construction, there are so many obstacles that it's often hard to get a tape measure accurate enough to compare. When I can, it seems spot on. My only problem with it is that it defaults to metric. Easy to change readings, but wish I could change the default. (Maybe you can, just haven't figured it out yet.) Wasn't enough to take off a star though as it doesn't detract from the overall functionality. Have dropped this a few times with no issues. Seems to be bult very well. I've already gotten my money's worth and wouldn't hesitate to get a replacement if I do something stupid with it... again.

I ultimately returned this because I noticed that sometimes the first measurement upon turning on the device was significantly off, example if pointing at a wall or ceiling 5 ft away it would return 15 or 18 ft or something. The subsequent measurements would auto correct itself and the device would work well and did seem pretty accurate. Initially I thought the error was due to how I was holding it or it not being level, but when the initial off measurement reoccurred numerous times I knew it wasn't me. I will say that this product was really nice to hold in the hand, I appreciated the textured/ rubber grip on the sides, that was nice. But I ultimately kept another brand that didn't suffer from the periodic initial measurement being off.

If you want to simply and accurately measure distances, this is the tool for you. I had previously purchased the Huepar S 60 Green laser measurement tool and it has so many features that performing simple measurements in feet and inches was a challenge. This tool doesn't have a gazillion features and that's good as I am not a trigonometry major! Green laser is so much better than red, so it has the latest technology and is very accurate. I used it to measure an outdoor patio in the afternoon sun and it was powerful enough to be functional and accurate. Look no further - great value!

This laser rangefinder claims an accuracy of ±2 millimeters, but in reality, the measurement results are unstable, have significant deviations, and cannot accurately lock onto the reading.

It's not that useful in day time as they mentioned in description.

Excellent product easy to use well built

Works well and I like the fact it has spirit levels built in. Note although it has a stronger laser button for daytime use, it doesn't work that well in strong sun. It's not a big issue as I could do the measurements early morning or late afternoon. The ability to measure the whole garden length in one go, or reaching ceiling heights easily, more than compensate for that.
