It works for that. This does run big. I have an XL helmet, I bought the large caps, and they are still a bit big. Thanks to reviews for telling me they ran big. They aren't snug, but I also don't have lines on my head from them being too small, so it's a fair trade. All-in-all it's a decent product especially for the money paid. Will probably buy again when the time comes.
