ClimaTek Gas Range Oven Stove Ignitor Fits Westinghouse 5303935066

Had to cut the connectors off the stove wires and use male/female connectors to attach, but not a hard fix. Works great and stove heats very fast and no gas smell. No modifications needed outside of the connectors and great value for the money.

I have an old Kenmore 790.7104. It's sold under a lot of different brands and models but the all seem to be pretty similar. It still had the original igniter in it. The igniter would glow very bright which seems to indicate that the resistance was higher than normal. The end result being that the over could run forever and not reach 300 degrees. The gas supply was being restricted because the gas safety is wired in series with the igniter.The hardest part of the swap was removing the broiler drawer. There are "clips" in the rail that attached to the inside of the oven. The secret is they're not really clips in the normal sense. The steel rail was stamped an oval piece is sprung out from the rest of the rail. You have to kind of hammer it flat (gently) on each side and then pry them back out before sliding the drawer back in. I guess it work for a drawer that rarely gets removed.The rest was simple. Two hex headed bolts, cut the wires on the old igniter near the heat element, strip the remaining wire, twist the new one on with the included wire nuts, bolt it back on, tuck the wires away as much as you can into the shielded areas and done.The thing now fires up and can hit 300 F in five minutes. It's running about 30 degrees hot now as it swings from 300 to 360 when set to 300. That's probably a thermostat issue and can be dealt with as long as you know this.TLDR; It works great and is a pretty easy swap. I have to say when my oven stop working I didn't have a clue, went on YouTube that was that. I ordered this part for 2nd time the 1st one just went out 1/15/2024. So, now I'm installing this 2nd one after 12 months from the 1st one .... for $20 I'll keep buying as long as it keeps me from buying a new oven. My oven is 15 years old stainless steel bought 2008 and I'm getting all my money worth out of this Frigidaire appliance and yes, I'm a female.

Product did not last long. We used our oven less than 12 times and the ignitor no longer works. Also, this happened to be the cheapest amazon listing for this specific ignitor at the time of purchase. Guess we got what we paid for. Not only is it an inferior product but lot of wasted of time. So glad I went with this product over the OEMI have an old Jade range. I believe it is functionally the same unit as the Dynasty RJGR series. I found this part # by looking at a YouTUBE video on how to fix that Dynasty oven, which was also pretty helpful in showing how esse the project is. Don't pay a repairman for this one! You can save $300+ and it is super easy if you're comfortable with a screwdriver and have ever twisted a wire nut.

This company promote an ignition for your stove. On the picture they show a CSA approved sticker attached to the part. In fact the one I received has not been classified as CSA. In installing this device to my oven, if anything goes wrong and a fire start the insurance for my home won't cover me.
