Was easy to connect to my device, liked the fact it had different connections.

Works great on my new computer and convenient for travel.

Have to load the drivers for device, etc but was able to with directions and without issues...just a little bit of an inconvenience. However, this product is GREAT! Wish I would have bought sooner! THANK YOU!

Interesting that this product touts US military then requires you to download from a Chinese website to make it work. Nothing suspicious there!

The product worked as described.

The SD card reader on my older PC was no longer functioning properly and I like to move data around on SD cards because they so small and easily portable. With this USB 3 SD Card Reader I am once again able to read and write data to my SD cards as I've done in the past. Note that, if you are using a micro SD card, you will need to insert it such that it seems like it is upside down but that is the correct orientation. There is a graphic image on the device showing to do it this way. The card will not fit any other way.I tested the device both with a micro SD card and with a mini SD card (actually a micro SD with an adapter), and both functioned as expected.One word of caution: this device looks exactly like a USB drive but it does not have any built in storage capability. I didn't expect it to but just so its clear to all . . .I would recommend this device to anyone in need of an external SD card reader.

This SD Card reader is pretty dang good! When transferring a large video file, I get around 90 Megabytes per second, which is slightly faster than my previous fastest SD Card reader at 80/MBps. The acceptance of normal sized SD cards and MicroSD cards is a big plus, as you can ditch the adapters. You can even have 2 SD cards in both sots at the same time, and they'll both appear just fine. I could see the USB cover being useful if you're going to be throwing this in a bag. I was worried about the cover interfering with the MicroSD card when there's one plugged in, but that didn't end up being an issue. You can even close the cap for the MicroSD card slot while there's a MicroSD card in it, which helps protect it if it's rolling around in a bag.Overall, I think this is a pretty damn good SD card reader for the price. If you need a fast SD card reader without breaking the bank, this is a great option.

I ordered this because I wanted something easy to upload photos from our SD cards in our cell phones.***PROS:---1. Very easy to use - plug in the SD card into the appropriate slot, plug the reader into a USB slot on the computer.---2. Works fast - pulled up thousands of photos (on the SD card) and transferred them to the computer quickly.---3. The reason I like this reader as opposed to some other styles is because it keeps the micro SD card slot covered and protected from dust or anything getting stuck in there and damaging it. (The USB portion is also protected by the hinging cover, when not in use.) The micro-SD card slot is fully covered at the end (the "lid" snaps open to use).---4. You can upload two cards at once. Might take a little longer than if you were doing one at a time, but it's nice because you can start the upload for both cards and let it do it's thing.---5. Great price ($10) when I ordered it.***NEUTRAL POINT:---1. Just an quick reminder: This is not a USB storage drive. It is only used to transfer things on an SD card onto another device via USB.***CONS:---1. The regular SD card slot is not covered or protected at any time. This isn't a major issue for me, but I do wish it had something to keep it from getting dust and/or anything else stuck in there. So, I removed a star for that.-----------------------------Overall, very happy with this order!

Allows me to read my SD cards from my camera on my computer. No issues.

This device works well - decent fast data rates when used over USB 3. Works with my Linux machines and all my Macs and works with two memory cards at once. No complaints about its operation.The thing seems to be a bit cheaply made and not moulded very well - the seams don’t line up. The little door on the back that keeps dust out of the Micro SD slot doesn’t click shut.I’m not sure what the rotating cover thinggy is for, it doesn’t seem to protect or close off either end of the device - although, as the description boasts, I can operate it with one hand.

Ideal little reader this for keeping with the laptop. Its a 'stick' style reader so no annoying cables to deal with. I tihnk the only issues with these type of readers is if you knock it, you risk breaking the USB socket potentially, that is a minor point though and can be said for all sticks.Read/write speeds are decent enough for an SD card reader, as SD cards are generally quite slow anyway.Not a lot more to say about this. It works well, and is small and lightweight so can live with the laptop quite happily.
