My hands are injured, and have no strength to open jars. I bought a different brand of jar opener, but it damaged the lids. I bought this brand, and it works perfectly without damaging the lids. The jar opener makes a soft popping sound when it releases the seal, and the jars open effortlessly. Also the handle has a soft cover, maybe silicone, so it is comfortable to use. Really I am so excited that I can open jars again.

I think this is one of the only mason jar openers I have found that works as it says it does. Before this came along I always had problems unsealing the flat lid part. This makes it so easy.

This is the best method for removing canning jar lids! It even works on opening jam and pickle type jars of a similar size. Works best on large lids, the small ones are a bit more challenging.
