Just like their 1980s namesake, these men's shoes combine versatility with good looks. They're made with a patent leather upper for upgraded style. A distinctive split cupsole and curved webbing stripe complete the retro vibe.

New Favorite Casual Shoe
Talk about a comfortable fit. I saw some reviews saying these were a bit narrow, but that wasn't my experience, they just seem to mold to the foot on the sides and have a wide enough tongue that I can see this was the intention. The foam rubber insoles feel like they are built to last, but are still soft enough to be comfortable. The gum rubber outsole feels weightier than your average running shoe, but not too heavy, just enough for a bit of comfortable presence. What I really like, though, is the style. It can be a little difficult to tell on the product page, but unlike a lot of similarly styled shoes, like the Nike Air Force One, these are not large and puffy shoes. They don't have tons of insulation and oversized thickness that many do, they fit like a good tennis shoe should and don't feel clumsy. They are surprisingly flexible for leather sneakers, and right out of the box they don't feel too stiff, but they will need to break in a bit. Really everything I wanted. If you want a retro sneaker and remember how they felt in the 80's/90's, you'll be in love.

nice, getting another pair
I didn't expect these to be that comfortable, given the old technology and the basic foot bed, but they are extremely comfy schlepping around sneakers. I didn't expect them to last long because they're pretty light, but they've lasted over a year, which is above normal for me. Looks are subjective - I like the clean retro look of the standard white w re/blue side stripe. The smooth leather is easier to keep clean than nylon. Soles are good quality rubber, squeak when they grab. I wear Nike Vapor for tennis, but also play with the Continental 80's because, well they just feel good on my feet. They don't have a huge amount of lateral support so I wouldn't necessarily recommend them for tennis (I ended up tearing a toe box on the court).

Great Sneakers
I have been looking forward to this pair of shoes since deciding to go a little retro with my sneaker choice. I'm 51 and remember shoes like this back in the day. Having read they run narrow, I thought they might be too small or narrow, but I lucked out and they fit nicely right out of the box. Leather a little stiff as expected, so I look forward to breaking them in this week. They look stunning with my gray golf pants. Feels like 1984.

Really into these!
I received these shoes a lot quicker than I expected, which was great (for context, I live in the Pacific islands and packages from Amazon can take up to three weeks to arrive). I opened up the package in my car and initially wasn't really over the moon about how they looked, but after getting home and having a closer look at the both of them, I fell in love. I bought the white, scarlet, and collegiate navy in a size 4.5 (I usually wear a 6 in Adidas women's) and though they feel just a little bit tight, I really like the way they looked on me and was glad they didn't make my feet appear too long/big like some shoes might have. I was originally going to spring for the Reebok club c 85's, but I'm pretty happy I got these instead.Side notes:At first, I was kind of paranoid that the shoes would look used after opening the outside packaging since the box was all beat up and falling apart, but aside from a few wrinkly lines at the toes (which I don't overly mind) they look great and are in near-perfect condition. As for the sizing; if you're a woman and want to get yourself some continental 80's, be sure to look up a few US size conversion charts online so you could get an accurate fit. I wear a size 6 in both Vans and Adidas and have narrow feet. The 4.5 fits just right! They might feel a little tight at first, but walk around your house in them for a few hours and the shoes will feel more comfortable. I totally recommend.

Love these 😍
I’m usually a 12, my last pair of adidas, Stan Smith were 11.5. I ordered the 12 after research of sites with same shoe that offered 11 or 12, no 11.5. Trying on with cold nyc temps (when your feet are smallest) they fit great and the 11.5 would have been too small. They look great in person and after water protecting I hope they last as long as my last pair of adidas which was a year plus.

Nice looking but....
1st and foremost the shoe is nice but it's not a comfortable shoe whatsoever, then again whats comfortable for me might not be for you so with said the shoe also runs a bit bigger. I wear a size 12 in almost every sneaker but this one here my foot fits so loose and my foot actually comes out of the shoe as I walk, so I'd recommend a half size down or maybe a full size if u have a narrow foot. The outsole of the shoe is like a flat thick brick , which offers very little to no comfort at all but the upper of the shoe is really nice and I mean really nice 👌. Keep in mind you get what u pay for , simple , no tech, good looking shoe with a really bad outsole and a really nice upper. If its just a shoe u plan on using it to just go out really quick with minimal walking or just in the house which I'm doing because I am fortunate enough to own a lot of good comfortable shoes , then you should be fine . Over all I give the shoe a 2 out 5 for comfort and a 3 out of 5 for the value which comes from the upper mainly.
