Best shoes I've worn. Ever.
This is my third pair of Clarks Unstructured Coil oxfords.FIT/COMFORTThe fit has remained consistent through at least the last 5 or more years since I've been wearing these shoes. This model happens to fit my foot perfectly. Length is consistent with other footwear and I'd say is true to size. For me, I have a slightly wide foot and these shoes fit spot on. That being said, if you have a narrow foot, you may find the fit to be too wide. While I require a wide in some shoes, these I can wear the regular width and it's fine. I also have a fairly high instep and these fit me there well. They are fairly compliant and adjustable with lacing. The shoes break in beautifully. Not so soft to be worthless, not stiff at all. These are honestly more comfortable than any sneaker or other shoe I own and they often get worn on the weekend too.DurabilityI wear mine down until the soles is practically worn through and i get several years of almost daily wear out of them.MISCVenting really works. My feet remain as dry as possible in the summer. Wear these with a wool blend sock and it's as dry as you can expect to be.However, the venting is the Achilles heel of these shoes. They are NOT for all weather situations and you WILL get wet feet due to puddles and standing water in parking lots and such. If they only made this shoe with Gore-Tex XCR liners (or at least on the vent to prevent water intrusion) I'd lose my mind!

Very classy comfortable all-occasion shoe!
Pros:-Fabulous dark mahogany color-Obviously high quality craftsmanship and materials-Comfortable right out of the box-Modern design-Good for all occasionsCons:-Runs a half-size smallI bought these for my husband on his birthday, and he absolutely loves them. He had been buying Sketchers' oxford shoes (Skechers Men's Browser Casual Oxford) for a while, and I noticed they would wear down pretty fast, and everyone else found that to be the case from the reviews. So I decided to turn a new page and splurge on this pair from Clarks for him. I cannot believe how polished he looks in them, wearing just a pair of dark jeans and a polo! Definitely cleans a guy up. I took the suggestion of other reviewers and bought a half-size down, and they fit my husband perfectly with regular white socks. I love the look of the shoe as well, especially with the wide band running down the middle.

High Quality Construction But Not a Direct Replacement for the Touareg
I was looking for a replacement for my favorite Clarks Touaregs but they have stopped making that model unfortunately. The build quality of the Unstructured shoes looked to be, and is, superior to the Touaregs but the price is also about double. They are very nice shoes and certainly on the higher end for quality so I was not disappointed when I received them. One drawback however is that the footbed is not the same as the Touareg. There is significantly less arch support and not as much of a lift in the heel. Everyone's feet are different and what works for me won't work for others but I do wish they had a little more consistency with their predecessor. Long term durability and comfort will determine whether these shoes move to 5-stars or fall back to 2-3 starts, especially given the steep price tag.

Extremely comfortable shoes!
If there's one thing I want to ensure a good fit with, it's a pair of shoes. I was turned on to Clarks a while ago and I haven't looked back. The combination of style, comfort, and price have made their shoes winners in my book since the start. This Unstructured series was an interesting addition, being both very flexible and breathable with the air intake holes. I am actually wearing them right now as I type this, and I just got back from a long walk on a warm day and my feet feel great without being hot and sweaty.Another feature that I feel distinguishes these shoes is the incredibly smooth and comfortable interior lining. Even with socks on, they have a very buttery feel to them when compared to other shoes I own. I could walk all day in these shoes without feeling fatigue, and I feel like they're also quite stylish. My one hesitation would be to wear this when it is wet/raining outside because the air intake holes might serve as a direct line to my socks, but since I have avoided wearing them in those conditions I can't say for sure. Ultimately, a great pair of shoes from a great shoe company.

Good shoe with high price
This is a good shoe for the office if you are a tech or worker - not an executive. You will not be wearing these shoes to your friend's wedding. They are good looking and rugged but not very elegant and sophisticated for dress.Comfort:No break-in - these shoes are comfortable - and breathable with vents and breathable technology. The sole is soft and the leather is soft as well. Support on the arch is felt. They run big - this is a somewhat wide looking shoe. I usually wear size 8.5 which I ordered but then exchanged for the size 8. Even the 8 is a bit roomy but I am keeping them regardless.Material:Nice soft leather and good stitching - the leather is also pre-rubbed by hand at the factory to enhance luster and durability - it is also recommended that you treat the leather occasionally. WARNING - These are vented to in the RAIN you will get wet feet.Price:Very expensive - these shoes are over $100 and they should be in the $60-$70 range.Style:While I love the look of this shoe and the stitch patterns and lines this is not a dressy shoe. It is for casual wear at the office - not an executive shoe. The laces are clumsy and will protrude from the bottom of your pants - the shoe is wide. You will not see anyone wearing a tux and these shoes - these are business casual ONLY.I'll update as they wear down and let you know how they hold up......
