Makes People Say "OOOOOOOH" When They See It!
The media could not be loaded. I was a little worried when it arrived that it wouldn't be as cool as I'd hoped because of little "packaging" issues (like the missing "c" in the word "instrutions" on the instruction manual) that I thought might be clues to other, more dealbreaking oversights. Not so at all! This thing WORKS GREAT and looks SO COOL. It genuinely makes people stop in their tracks and say "oooooooh!" aloud when they notice it spinning on my desk. haha. It's really neat. It's more of a modernized top than what we've come to know as a "fidget" these days. Do kids still play with tops? I'm still in my 30s but I have zero kids of my own and I don't want to ask some random one lol. Anyway, this thing is a top! It's also an AWESOME OPTICAL ILLUSION and it's so fun to watch. I also love that it's totally SILENT when it's spinning. Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd, I must say, it felt really good to master it. Other folks send it flipping over or flying off my desk sometimes (good thing it's sturdy!) because there's a lil bit of a trick to getting it to work smoothly every time without fail. Spoilers: Keep a finger on the beam and apply most of your twisting/launch pressure there when you're getting it started - that keeps it stable/balanced and then you can get a really good spin on it. Challenge yourself to keep it going for longer and longer periods of time - it's fun!!

Neat optical illusion, but not really a fidget toy.
I got this as I thought it was a trick magnet thing to balance the ball...not so much. It's an optical illusion and as that it's pretty cool to watch, but the spin doesn't last long. Son lost interest in it pretty quick, so it just sits now with an occasional spin if someone walks past it. Spins on bottom of base. This review is for: Fidget Toys for Adults, Metal Fidget Toys Desk Fidgets for Office for Adults, Quite Kids Fidget Toys for Anxiety and Stress (Black Silver)

Cool optical illusion
A fun desk gizmo for amazing for amazing your friends and co-workers. Give it a spin and watch the ball seemingly defy gravity. Its machined smooth, no burrs, scratches or sharp edges. I do wish it either was balanced better or had a little better bearing so it might rotate longer per spin. Its a small gripe and I don't think the balance or bearing are bad necessarily, I just think it would cool if it spun longer per smooth spin.

hmm
I wouldn't say this is really a fidget toy as it only spins around. By the photos I thought it had a magnet in it that kept the stainless steel ball floating, but its just glued to the side of the unit. Other than that there are no tooling marks on it and made well.

Cool visual effect
The media could not be loaded. This adult desk toy does not spin as long as the similar metallic ball-only type, but is more visually stunning. It tends to fall over if I try to spin it too hard, it is less steady since it has a higher center of gravity. But it sure looks cool.It feels study, just try not to get it wet.

Neat spinner
I once saw a kickstarter for a spinner like this and it was an insane price. This is the exact same thing for a fraction of what they wanted. The middle sphere is a perfect mirror finish and the outside skinner part is a matte metallic. It is all metal and looks great. The spinner mechanizing allows it to spin for quite a while. Really fun toy to have at your desk.

Hypnotic But Passive
I wouldn't exactly call this a "fidget" toy, mainly because you don't really fidget with it. It's less interactive and more passive, and while the swirling movement is calming while it lasts, the fact that you don't interact with it much means -- at least for me -- you tend to get bored quickly. It's nice as a conversation piece, but if you're looking for something that will provide focused activity, this is less likely to suit your needs.
