I was on the search for some bright light bulbs that had a remote so I could easily dim them depending on what was going in the room. I thought a remote would be easier than opening my phone to adjust but I had a hard time finding a super bright bulb that also had a remote. I did buy one from Amazon but it wasn't nearly as bright as advertised so I had to return it. I instead decided to try these and I'm pretty pleased. These bulbs are definitely as bright as they say they are - about a 100 watt equivalent. Although there's no remote and you do have to use an app, the app is pretty easy to use and you can create multiple presets to easily switch between your preferred levels of brightness and/or colors. I created a very warm reddish preset to try to use later in the evening so it's easier on the eyes. I don't have google home or Alexa so have no clue if these work with those but for the price I think they're a great deal and worth trying if you're in the market for app controlled dimmable bulbs.

Great product

Good luck ever managing to wirelessly control these bulbs because you're almost certainly going to be stuck at "Failed to connect" no matter where they're located or how you set up your network. I'm tired of the headache of trying to get these bulbs to function so I guess they're just not for me.Edit: It took some persistence, but after completely removing the bulb configuration from the Aidot app, physically removing and reinstalling the bulbs themselves, and restarting my router, I was able to get them to finally connect to the app and my Alexa device properly. Because it's working now I'm raising my review score but if anyone is experiencing similar issues I would strongly recommend restarting everything.

Wish I would have bought these before buying all the smart plugs. Having them built right into the bulb is extremely convenient. The app is great and allows comp,eye control over the bulbs. Likes them so much I bought another set.

The media could not be loaded. I bought 4 bulbs and all started making a really annoying ticking sound when switched off through the app. I have to cut power off completely every night to not be annoyed. I’ve had smart bulbs before and never had this issue. Was hoping to have brighter and more adjustable bulbs which I got but I can’t deal with 4 ticking light bulbs in my room
