Great for Countertops when you are putting hot pans and cast iron skillets onto them. I use it under my Crockpot.Would recommend.

Did what they were designed for, but the design was kind of unnecessary. Wife thought they were kind of hoaky.

Adding this mat to the bottom of my Dutch oven has kept my sourdough from burning on the bottom. Awesome purchase!
