I looked at dozens of different mp3's before settling on this one and I'm genuinely so glad I decided to try this one!It was really easy add music to it (basic drag and drop style), the sound quality is way better than I expected and it gets pretty loud. Set up took maybe a minute, adding 2000 songs took about 10 minutes (slow computer lol) and I've been using it since. The clip is nice and strong so I'm not nervous about the mp3 player falling off on my pocket. The buttons are nice and clicky and don't feel like they'll break super easy. The device is responsive. I love that I can add playlists directly on it! I'm sure it won't last forever for $20 but I definitely see myself enjoying it for the next few years! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Most Bang For Your Buck! *by on Reviewed in the United States September 27, 2025* You just can't beat this MP3 Player's features for the price. I previously had a Victure MP3 player and it lasted 6 years of daily play and wear and tear. The Yoton is similar aesthetically. You have the same button functionality. Power On/Off, Volume Up/Down, and buttons on the front that allow you to play/pause, Go back to start (no rewind search), Go to next track (no fast forward search). There is also a menu button and return button. I want to applaud the pleasing click and durability of the buttons. My previous model did not have this and this is an upgrade. The buttons make the operation of the MP3 player easy to use. The MP3 player has the all-important clip. The device is small enough, and light enough, that you can clip it to your shirt, shorts/pants, or even a bag on the outside to it is easy to find and make adjustments. It is so light, that you might accidentally leave it connected to an article of clothing after a dog walk or workout. The Bluetooth is greatly improved over my previous model. I primarily use three devices to connect with Bluetooth. Once connected, they re-connect seamlessly. The only flaw with the Bluetooth is that when you power on the device, the Bluetooth starts up immediately. This is convenient for those who only use Bluetooth devices. Pro tip: If you didn't know, using wired headphones or a wired connection to a speaker will make your device's power last so much longer. I don't remember the details, but I can confirm the validity of this. I have used the device daily for a morning 45 minute walk, listen during feeding my dog and making breakfast, commute to work, and sometimes at work for longer than half my shift, and the commute home. So far, the device has never gotten even close to being out of power with wired headphones. I have even gone a few days with the same use and the only reason I charged it was to load music. 2nd Pro Tip: Wired headphones sound better on this device than the previous model. With Bluetooth I listen at 25/31 and when using wired headphones I listen at 8/31. The sound is far more robust than the previous model and you still get the ability to adjust the EQ to preferred levels. The display is different than the previous model and I needed time to adjust. Eventually the difference did not matter. You get a notification that the sim card is inserted, Bluetooth is connected, the power level, the EQ setting, track #/# of tracks, Clip art, whether you are playing straight, shuffle (yes it is there), or repeat, Track Name, time signature and length of song, and indicators for Back, Play, and Forward. When you power on you get a standard home screen with product name and customer service pledge. Getting to the shuffle takes some practice, but once you find it, it works well. The other main upgrade to this model is the inclusion of the sim card that gives you an amazing amount of space. However, I suggest not trying to load it to the hilt. I tried that and it affected the functionality of the device and it eventually froze up. I had a couple of frustrating days of trying to troubleshoot the device with customer service through email only. I was not savy enough to upgrade the firmware, but the manufacturer sent me a new device. I have been more conservative with the amount of music I have loaded on to the device since then. I still have 3 times the amount of music loaded that the previous model could hold without a sim card and it is not even halfway full. You can tinker with what works for you. Overall, it has been an incredible upgrade and I got it for less than $30. I have paid more and gotten less on fancier devices. The size, sound, bluetooth, and storage makes this an unbeatable option. If you want your music, audiobooks, podcast, etc. without interrupting adds, notifications, etc. This is a great choice and absolutely the most bang for your buck! The longer I used it, the more I came to fully appreciate it. I have used it for three months solid daily. I will more than likely buy several more to load for specific playlists, genre, etc. I am very happy with this product and recommend it for the value and quality I have enjoyed all summer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ My portable music files *by on Reviewed in the United States April 7, 2026* I bought one of these for my nephew for Christmas and figured it might be worth a try, since I was looking for something to play music from my large digital library that I have on an external drive. Pros: it connects to my Mac laptop easily and all I have to do is drag music folders onto it. It has a solid Bluetooth connection OR wired, so whatever type of earbuds you have it will work. Also the wired output hooks up to my stereo with a 3.5mm cable. The controls are straight forward. I didn't need to read the manual to figure it out. Cons: the display is just OK, being small and it doesn't always bring up the album art. Not a deal breaker, and at this price it's fine. I have noticed that the player gets confused with album titles that are similar. For example, "Black Sunday" by Cypress Hill got mixed in with songs from "Black on Both Sides" by Mos Def. Basically the player combined them into one album. Or I have Scott Walker's albums "Scott," "Scott 2," "Scott 3," etc. and it combined all of them into one album folder. BUT considering that there is no support for iPods anymore and I really wanted to have playable access on the run of my music, I'm happy with this mp3 player! ## Frequently Bought Together - YOTON MP3 Player with Bluetooth 5.2, 64GB Mini HiFi-Music Player with Sports Clip, Portable MP3 Player for Kids with Independent Volume Button, FM Radio, Earphones Included - RUIZU 64GB Clip MP3 Player with Bluetooth 5.3, Portable Music Player with Voice Recorder for Sports Running, FM Radio, Pedometer, A-B Repeat, Audio Shuffle Playback, Support 128GB Micro SD Card, Red - Amazon Basics Micro SDXC Memory Card with Full Size Adapter, A2, U3, Read Speed up to 100 MB/s, 128 GB, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/644746674-yoton-mp3-player-with-bluetooth-max-64gb-hifi-clip-tf](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/644746674-yoton-mp3-player-with-bluetooth-max-64gb-hifi-clip-tf) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
