Sominex, Nature's Harvest Sleep 3, Nature's Harvest + Stress, Relaxium, Olly Sleep Aid, Qunol 5 in 1 Sleep Support, Carlyle 12 mg Melatonin, Zquill , Solaray Valerian Root extract, Benedryl, Equate Night Time Sleep Aid, Vitamin Magnesium Complex and nothing worked for me. I found the reviews for Alteril Gel caps on Amazon, had tremendous reviews so I thought what have I got to lose? I used to average 3 to 4 days of non sleep and only through exhaustion, I would manage several troubled hours of rest. The Alteril Gel caps are not available at any stores, I checked. Stores carry the tablet and was ineffective. I don't know what the difference in chemical make up but you take 2 capsules a night with the Gel caps. Third day using Alteril soft caps and its the first time in a very long time that I have had three days of restful, sleep. I have been prescribed Sonata from my family physician but I alternate between Alteril and Sonata . I eliminated Qunol Sleep from my rotation regime and so far this combination seems to work.
