The build quality feels cheap overall. The hose is not very good quality and the nozzle that it comes with can only be described as hilariously bad. Not to be entirely unexpected for the price point, but the nozzle is put to shame by even the cheapest generic nozzles available on Amazon. The worst part however are the fasteners used to install it. Even being extremely gentle and using a lightweight rubber hammer to put in the wall anchors, they broke during install. A friend of mine encountered the same issue and replaced the fasteners with tapcons. They do not work for mine because I bought the “upgraded” metal wall bracket. Overall very disappointed. I would be returning it if there weren’t already holes in my wall drilled to fit this.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love these garden hoses!! Purchased two of them to replace the standard old green hoses that are a PIA to deal with. What a difference!! I wish I purchased these a long time ago. Great price and solid construction. We picked the heavy duty metal attachment bracket. We installed one hose into a cinder block wall and the other in a brick wall using the supplied hardware without issue. I appreciate the design feature where you can easily pick the hose reel up off the bracket and store inside for the winter. I have been using both hoses all season and the spring loaded retraction feature makes it easy to coil the hose up automatically when I am done using. Also, the hose housing swiveled left and right making it easier to water plants in the front of my house and then on the side without the hose tangling.

Leak from the hose and the washer is broken

We live on a small (3 acre) acreage (3 acres) with a barn, and as such have gone through soooo many hoses. This hose is by far the best hose we have ever had. It doesn't leak. It doesn't drag on the ground. It hangs at whatever height you want (so it isn't on the ground) pivots perfectly. It was such a hit I have since ordered 2 more. We have one in the barn, one on the side of the house and one discreetly at the front. When it retracts it is super smooth. locks in any position (with a simple extra pull). It is an initial outlay but it last so much longer than any other hoses and it stops me from destroying my ground flowers and cursing. The video is of the one in the barn and the ones with the brick background are on the side of the house. Sturdy material. Super long (well one is 100 feet and 2 are 50'. I can't say enough about these. I even convinced my sister to get one!

Installed as per instructions. Turned the water on and the hose reel leaked like a sieve from within. I purchased two of these reels and I’m now reluctant to install the second one based on the quality of this one.
