happy with the product. solid design. Sadly it doesn't magnet with my magnetic ESR case but sellers instructions are clear but it has to be a bare device.

This is an excellent desktop stand for the iPad. The magnetic connection is perfect, secure enough to offer reassurance that the iPad won't slip off, and comes off easily with a firm grip and a tug. The arm is stiff, so the iPad is firm to work with. The arm moves well with an intentional grip, but I don't expect to be moving it much. I love this stand, it is perfect for my workflow.

I am VERY impressed with this stand. I had my doubts when purchasing after viewing all of these other cheap plastic looking stands and the other floppy metal looking stands ... I decided on this one, and I am not disappointed with it at all. VERY durable, VERY sturdy, the magnetic hold is super strong (Your iPad isn't going to accidently fall off of this) ... It has a very high premium look to it (doesn't look like most of these other cheap looking stands that I found on Amazon) .. It is somewhat 'tight' when wanting to adjust the arms to where you need them, BUT, to me, that just adds to the sturdiness of this holder . Your iPad position is not going to slowly lower/fall because this stand will keep the position that you set it at. If you are in the market for this type of stand for your iPad, I would HIGHLY RECCOMEND purchasing this one! I love mine so much that I am going to purchase an additional one for a different room in my home (because I am lazy and don't want to move my original stand from room to room) ..

***UPDATE*** After couple of months of use, it's loosened up and it is now not that stiff. Perhaps this item has a break-in period? Upgrading to 5 star. It is too stiff; boarder line unusable for some people with weak arms. But other than that it’s a great product. Very well made.
