Painless stainless
Love them. I like tool-less clamps my my intake system. I used RV sewer clamp for years, but they discolor, rust, and the plastic turn keys break. These are a great upgrade. Not all stainless is equal - there is a low grade stainless (304) that can "tea stain" and even rust over time, depending on application. Since I live in the rust belt, these clamps will see some salt spray from winter roads, although not directly. That said, if they discolor I will update here. I have a years long history of keeping all my reviews updated!

Perfect! Why fumble with a screw driver when you can use your very own thumb!
Why they still make clamps without these built in steel turn keys is something I don't understand. Unless maybe some folks insist on needing unnecessary tools to do something as simple as tightening a clamp. These are quick and easy to put on as tight as you want and just as easy to loosen and remove.Someone now makes clamps that use a plastic key that you remove from the clamps after tightening so you can lose the keys and go nuts when the nightmare day comes when you realize you’ll have to hire a guy with a cutting torch to remove those useless removable key style clamps with the soon-to-be-lost plastic keys. These clamp keys don't get lost and they're not plastic, all stainless steel.Thank you to the company smart enough to still make these excellent clamps!

Really easy to install
I was tired of using the older style spring clamps that barely held the exhaust hose on or the other type that you need a screwdriver to tighten so I started looking around and found these and I'm glad I did. They're really easy to install. Just slip one over the end of the hose, attach the hose and then use your fingers to tighten, easy peasy..... I've used them in a few places in our house and haven't had any problems, they're really handy in those tight areas as well.At the time of my review, a set of 6 was under $10 which works for me.

Awesome clamps
I don't know why others have rated this item as poor. It is a hose clamp. It does it's job. And it does it well. Period.Seriously though, this thing is really nice. The metal tightener works great. I was afraid I'd break a plastic one, so I bought these and they work great. I don't know why some have said that they are hard to tighten as anyone with any minute bit of hand strength should be able to tighten them easily.Great product. I will order again when I need more.

Wing Nut Tighteners are Way Better Than Lever Spring Ones
I use this product to secure 4-inch diameter flexible hose to an air cleaner. I started by purchasing a lever spring mechanism but it was too much for me to hold open while stuffing the just slightly smaller diameter hose through the clamp and over the intake for the air cleaner. THIS is the best solution I have found where clamps need to be taken on and off on a regular basis. Workmanship is good; the thumbscrews operate securely and comfortably, even without wearing shop gloves.

They work just okay
They work okay. Was hoping I wouldn’t have to use any tools but getting these clamps tight enough around my dryer vent hose (at least for me) I had to use pliers for the last 4-5 turns. I thought these would make the job so much quicker but it was still slower than anticipated. No fault of the product however just a lot of turns. I think my drill set on low speed and long Phillips bit would have been 2x as fast on the older screw type clamps. Of course it also depends on how much room you have to work behind the dryer as many situations wouldn’t have allowed the drill into the area. Overall they worked but just not as quick and easy as I had hoped.

Some advantage
The advantage of this clamp is that it only takes one hand to tighten. You don't need one hand to hold the clamp and use another hand to hold the clamp, which is a real advantage in tight spaces. The disadvantage is that, unless you have extraordinary finger strength, you'll need a plier to get it tight.

Great product!
So much better than trying to use a screwdriver, nut driver, etc. And I have extras in case I should need them on another such project. Where have these been all my life, LOL!
