I ordered the “ALL-TOP Tree Saver Strap 3in x 8ft Certified 36000Lbs Break Strength, Emergency Recovery Tow Strap Winch Extension Rope with Oversize Carry Bag (Green)” to review and to use mostly for tree felling but I am beginning to realize that the possibilities are endless. I love this strap. It is the epitome of “heavy duty.” I love that it is rated with a Lab-Tested 36,000 lbs. break strength which is far more than I’ll ever need. I also love that it is 8 feet long to allow use with larger trees. I also really love the included carry bag, which is actually a really nice bag, not just some cheap version just to say they included a bag. I ordered this as it is a great price for an actual three inch recovery strap. I primarily have used to safely fell trees around the property. The stitching is acceptable and after over ten pulls, I do not see any signs of weakness. I have not tested to the maximum advertised strength, but based on current performance I would feel safe using this strap for recovery as well. I will purchase again in the future if I need to add to the truck kit.

Having worked in demolition and tree work as well as doing some serious offroading I learned a lot from others as well as simple experience, good and bad, the value of straps and snatch blocks and the many techniques that can be utilized with them. Without them I couldn't access the full potential of my cables, ropes, and chains and also ruined a few.With the proper setup pulling power can be increased through the use of a single strap and snatch block and multiplied many times with multiples.Another benefit is the ability to change the direction of what is being pulled and/or what is pulling it.I utilize those techniques often on my small piece of property. Pulling down a diseased or damaged 70-100 foot tall tree, one that is not safe using standard felling techniques, takes a lot of rope!UNLESS.....you know the techniques and have the equipment to drive the truck one direction while pulling the tree down in another.I already had one fat strap and 2 snatch blocks. My other strap isn't very big and I have learned how dangerous a chain can be in some situations. I once had a 30 foot chain break free from an anchor I was attempting to remove, the top broke off, and all I could do was duck down in the cab of my 1979 F250 Supercab long wheel base and pray it didn't come through the window. When it was over the chain was still attached to the rear bumper with the length stretched across the length of my truck and straight out in front of me.It was time for another good strong strap so when I found this I jumped on it.This is a great quality, super heavy duty strap that will hold up to anything I could ever subject it to.On top of that the colors would be a great compliment to a 4x4 rig. I saw a new Jeep the same color as this a couple of days ago and thought how nice it would be to have that Jeep to go with my new strap. :)Great product. Great value.

I ordered this to keep in my jeep for emergencies. It is strong and should stand up to its intended use. The last rope I had came in handy to clear a tree from the road and another time to rescue an Amazon delivery truck stuck in an icy driveway. This rope is a bit on the short side at only 8 feet. I think a 16 foot would be a better choice for me, but this will do the job when that time comes.Made in China

So I work on cars a lot- wrecked ones. Sometimes I have had to pull on broken frames and bumpers and I have a large tree to hook to but always worried about damaging it. now I can park a car that needs pulling on the downhill side and connect a 10,000 pound ratchet strap to the bet frame piece, connect the other end to this tree saver around my massive chestnut tree and pull till me hearts content without having to worry about damaging the tree. It is heavy duty, if you take care of it, it will last forever.
