Great for sun tea!
My husband has used glass pitchers in the past to make his sun tea. Unfortunately, one broke all over our outdoor deck. I bought this for him and it works great! The plastic is crystal clear and the top never leaks. Very happy with this purchase.

Well made airtight pitcher!
The media could not be loaded. I have used similar pitchers from the brand Lustroware, a very reliable Japanese brand known for its high-quality kitchen products. The QuickFlip Slim Airtight Pitcher - 1.2L (40oz) is exceptionally well-made and of premium quality. It provides smooth and spill-free liquid pouring, and its airtight seal ensures no leaks. The slim design fits easily in the refrigerator without taking up much space. I particularly love the one-touch opening feature. This pitcher is suitable for both cold and hot liquids, thanks to its high-quality plastic construction.

Good Pitcher that fits well in fridge
The nice slender form factor this pitcher provides is what peaked my interest in the product. I was looking for a smaller pitcher that would fit in the door of my refrigerator, and this accomplished that well. This pitcher has thick, strong and sturdy transparent base that seems like it could take some occasional punishment from every day use and with kids. No handle, but that's what I was looking for and is personal preference. The spring-loaded flip-top design opens with the press of a button and provides a good defense against leaks. This along with the screw-on lid overall does well to prevent leaks, even in an extended setting such as laying on its side within your fridge. There are some Japanese writings embossed onto the lid, but isn't very noticeable and actually kind of gives the pitcher a bit of character. Overall, good purchase with the small complaint of the lid not remaining more open when not in the closed position, but isn't that big of a deal for me.

Best large water bottle on the market. Made in Japan quality and craftsmanship.
This is advertised as a 1.2 liter pitcher, but I actually prefer to use it as a water bottle. It's about the size of a 1 liter soda bottle, so it holds about two and a half times what a 16.9 ounce plastic water bottle would hold. It's a lifesaver when hiking, traveling, or doing extended workout sessions in the gym. It's of course better for the environment than using all those plastic bottles. It's a big bottle, but one that anyone with a medium-to-large size hand can easily grip with one hand. The first thing that stands out is how thick and sturdy the clear plastic is. The plastic is heat resistant so it can even hold boiling water—which is great if you happen to brew your own iced tea or ice coffee. It's also completely watertight, so you can put it in your refrigerator standing up or lying on its side. When the lid is on, you can press a button to flip open a spring-loaded cap with an spout that you can use for pouring or drinking. There's a rubber lining around the lid to prevent water from spilling out. It rubber seal is permanently built into the lid, so there's no need to wash it separately. They do say not to put it in the microwave or the dishwasher—this is different than what the Amazon product copy says. The material is certainly heat resistant, so my guess is they recommend against it in their documentation because repeated exposure to hot temperatures may discolor or warp the plastic. That said, the lid also screws off for easy washing of the bottle, and the parts of the lid even come apart for washing. They have clear instructions in perfect English for you to follow to do so.I love the fact that they're transparent with their country of origin. The bottle is made in Japan, and a few of the lid parts are made in Vietnam. These days, made in the USA, Japan, and Germany are the gold standards for manufacturing, and this product is infinitely better made than just about any other reusable plastic bottle you'll find made anywhere else.

No leaking, can be placed horizontally or vertically
This is a very clear and beautiful bottle. It has no handle. However, the lower part of the bottle is designed to be slightly thinner, making it easy to grab, even for women like me who don't have large hands. I do not recommend handling it with wet hands. The without it's handle fits perfectly in the refrigerator storage. I would recommend it to anyone who has had trouble with bottle handles.I use the water softener filter because my house has hard water. I keep the filtered water cold in the bottle. Just enough for the water I drink in a day.I also use it to make kombu(seaweed kelp) dashi for Japanese cooking. The bottles have large lids and are removable so they can be washed and kept clean. The instructions for disassembling it to wash it are also illustrated in the manual. It is especially important to wash it thoroughly after use with liquids containing sugar, fat, protein, or other substances.Note that it cannot be used in a dishwasher. The capacity of 1.2 liters, which is neither too much nor too little, is appropriate for me. The container is also clear and can be placed vertically or horizontally for compact storage in the refrigerator. The square design means it won't roll when placed horizontally.I think it is suitable for people who don't like large containers of drinks taking up space in the refrigerator over time, or for storing soups, homemade drinks, etc.Overall, I highly recommend this bottle for anyone looking for a compact, easy-to-clean, and versatile storage solution.

Perfect for tea or beverage mix-ins
Even though this is made of plastic, it's some of the nicest plastic I've ever had. Reminds me of those really nice quality cereal containers. The bottle part is thick, clear plastic that's easy to wash and care for. The top has a push-button opening with a simple pour spout. I could just add a straw and be good to go. Something like this would work just as well for dry goods or snacks. It's a great size and I like that it's made in Japan.
