Good product at Rs. 9129/-(Including tax of Rs. 978.11). It's worth price with many functions. Works smoothly, strong metal frame weighing 5.5kg, good for biginers to proffestional, foot paddle is so smooth with 1.5meter wire connected with power cable of 2meter. but there is no option of turning off to foot paddle seperately, (because when u turn switch off in machine whole machine turns off along with light on needle) which is a single drawback. overall Singer machine is so easy and good. Thanks Amazon for selling likewise good products.

Bought this for my wife as she a lot of stitching. Package was delivered intact without any damage. My wife called the customer care for a demo. A rep from Singer came for the demo as scheduled. Though I don’t use this much I believe this is not easy for beginners as they will take time to learn how to use it. For regular users this will be easy to adapt. Service team is also quite responsive and attended to a call quickly. Access to the bobbin is a little difficult and one will have to tilt the machine backward, which is ok. Overall experience is good but will know only when more time is spent with it.

Really good sewing machine from Singer. I called the Toll Free no, for Free Home Demo (Singer provide Two free Demo) in the morning & Singer personnel attended in the same day itself. The Free Home Demo personnel (Bangalore) was very well trained & very polite too. He talked us through all the do's and dont's for the product, demonstrated every function clearly. Very satisfied with the customer service from Singer as well as Amazon. People who are having issue with 'thread coming out' - solution is - 1. Thread the machine properly. Important point - thread has to go from front to back of the needle. Please search the quoted term in Youtube - "SINGER® Machine Threading Tutorial" . Video details for reference: length - 3:38 ; Channel name: SingerSewingCompany ; 331K views. 2. Both the threads from needle & bobbin should be pulled towards back of the machine & then start with stitching. Pull the threads by at least 4 inches, only then the thread will not come of the needle. 3. Most important point - Always GRADUALLY press the foot pedal. Don't press it down fully when you begin, start gently/slowly & then increase speed gradually. Like how you accelerate in car/bike. the machine is good. but i find some issues in it. 1. most biggest problem is the reel holder that should be verticle but in this its horizontal. i though may be its convertible horizontal to verticle. 2. many times after using we use again the stiches arent proper even in same settings. stiches are to loose. i dont think it has anything with user because on same settings we use it next time.. other model is good than that and cheaper also.

Wonderful product. Great demo from Singer company service person. I am not experienced in sewing. But after the detailed demo i am able to do all my family mending works without any difficulty. Before the home demo i tried out threading bobbin and doing badic stitching by viewing the demo cd attached. Then i had all problems like thread breaking ,looping,difficulty pressing in the bobbin,loose thread, stuck pattern selection button and needle and all. The singer person explained the reason for all issues i had noted and could easily fix them by correcting the way i was using the machine. He also explained how to remove and reassemble the bobbin case assembly to clean or remove stuck cloth or thread , lubrication of machine etc. And explained all basic techniques of sewing and usage of different foot like button and button hole stitching. Was a very helpful demo. Sturdy , comfortable and beautiful product as well.Thanks Singer,seller n amazon

Toch maar weer een singer gekozen nadat de vorige 30 jaar dienst had gedaan. (Motor van het jaren 80-ding bleek niet te demonteren voor vervanging lager). Als deze ook zo lang meegaat is het een 'aanschaf voor het leven'.

Vorab: Ich bin ein absolutes Näh-Greenhorn. Da ich nicht hunderte von Euro ausgeben, aber auch nicht irgendein Klump haben wollte, habe ich nach Lesen der Bewertungen und weil sogar mir der Name Singer was sagt und die Maschine zudem solide aussah, diese Nähmaschine bestellt. Beim ersten mal brauchte ich zwar 50 min, bis ich alle Fäden da hatte, wo sie sein sollen, aber schon beim zweiten mal dauerte das nur noch 2 min - lag also an meiner Unkenntnis - in der (deutschsprachigen) Anleitung ist das aber gut beschrieben. Jetzt habe ich schon ein paar Loops, 2 Shirts und zwei Schlafanzughosen für meine Tochter genäht (plus diverse "Übungsstücke - ich konnte halt wirklich gar nichts) und bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Gerät. Es ist stabil, gut verarbeitet, nichts "hemdsärmeliges" und nichts wackelt rum. Sie hat auch einen Elastik-Stich (wichtig ;-) ). Sie verrutscht nicht o.ä. bei der Arbeit, ist aber trotzdem leicht genug, um sie für zB. Schneidearbeiten mal eben zur Seite zu rücken. Bei 4 Lagen Fleece ist, was die Dicke des Materials angeht, glaube ich Ende, das packt sie gerade noch (vielleicht kann man da aber mit einem anderen Näh-Fuß auch noch was erreichen, soweit bin ich noch nicht, um das beurteilen zu können). Für normalere Näharbeiten ist sie allemal geeignet, ein Profi wird sich sowieso eine teurere Maschine mit Stoff-Abschneide-Funktion (Overlock) kaufen. Das hat man hier eben nicht. Man hat aber ein preisWERTES Gerät, was im Hobbybereich Spaß macht und kein Billigteil ist.Ach ja. Sie ist nicht störend laut. Mein Mann schaut während meiner Näherei TV und hat noch nie gemeckert ;-) Vielleicht ist er aber auch einfach froh, daß ich beschäftigt bin :-P

Después de pensármelo mucho durante meses y meses, me he decidido por esta máquina de tamaño pequeño de Singer y creo que he acertado de pleno. Es muy fácil de manejar una vez se tiene el manual de instrucciones (el único fallo es que viene en alemán, pero ya iba avisada de eso por opiniones anteriores y lo busqué por Internet en castellano encontrándolo fácilmente). No sabía que venía con una funda plástica para protegerla, lo que también me alegró mucho porque no tenía ganas de comprar una carcasa dura de plástico. El tamaño es perfecto, no es una máquina de juguete y mantienen la calidad afamada de Singer, pero tampoco es un mamotreto que me ocupe medio salón. Estoy muy contenta con ella, la verdad.

Ma nouvelle copine, la Singer Tradition, est tout simplement formidable. Facile d'utilisation, efficace, peu encombrante, peu bruyante. Pour une utilisation peu fréquente et pas compliquée quand on est pas une experte en couture, je la recommande vivement.
