Toys Studio Series Voyager Transformers: War for Cybertron 09 Gamer Edition Ratchet, 6.5-inch Converting Action Figure, 8+

Might be my favorite in this new cybertron game studio series line. These figures have been pretty hit or miss so far but this mold for both ratchet and ironhide is nothing short of great. Both modes look fantastic, and unlike barricade the alt mode does not compromise the bot form in the slightest. The weapons are fun and bring you right back to the game, and i appreciate how they have not used many repeat weapons so far and are giving us the accurate melee and primary guns we got to see these bots use in the games. This is one voyager im happy to pay above deluxe price for. The play ability, pose ability and shelf presence are grade A. GIVE US JAZZ

Excellent figure. Legitimately one of the greatest studio series figures I've ever seen. Very accurate and fun to pose. Articulation and transformation are both great.

I was very excited for this figure as they never released a ratchet for the war for cybertron game back in the day. He’s fantastic! Looks great, great articulation, the transformation is complex but fun, I like that you can kind of combine his gun and the handle of the axe to create a sniper rifle, and I like that his hand folds into his back when you switch out the gun. I’m not a huge fan of switching the hand out for a gun dynamic, and his arm isn’t the best and staying in, but I like that this weapon he can just hold like a regular gun too. Wish there was a port for the gun on top of vehicle mode and wish you could fold in the wheels for a ‘hover mode’ like in the game, but honestly one of the best Ratchet toys out there.

when i bought this figure i was expecting it to be comparable quality wise to the 86 ratchet, i was not expecting it to simultaneously be bigger, more complex, and come with more accessories simultaneously. this figure is so good it feels like an apology for the pretty lackluster performance of the gamer edition subline, hopefully a big turning point for it overall

Looks great in both modes and is nice addition to any collection but the transformation was a little frustrating to me.

Great product. Great condition. They are a little hard to transform and directions could be better. Kids definitely need help to transform

Yeah got the 9th gamer edition

One of the few true decent figures from Hasbro of late. It is bit overly complicated for the transformation but both modes do look great and I am very pleased that the gun had a handle and doesn't require the arm removal if you prefer as such. Decent articulation and good accessories.
