addictive game.
This is not only great for a toddler; it is great for adults, and they are the ones who spend most of the time using it when they can pry it away from the child..

Owl - sensory child's toy
Good size for little hands and fingers. Brilliant sensory toy which lights up. Not complicated, uses quite a few batteries at once, make sure you have batteries as the owl doesn't come with any. Excellent value for money .

Instruction leaflet print is much too small
I've come across this kind of toy before, but was struggling to figure out how to work some of the modes of this one. So I pulled out the instruction leaflet, and discovered the print was that tiny I didn't stand a chance of reading it. I had to take a photo of it with my phone so I could enlarge it !!!This takes three AAA batteries, and (as with most toys) neither the batteries or the screwdriver required to get into the compartment are included. The one I have is sold as 'pink' which the bubble pad and the back comparment are, but I'd call the actual owl either burgundy or maroon. The listing recommends this for ages 3-12. At 3 I suspect they're going to struggle with some of the modes - and higher levels of the others. But there's no reason it has to be limited to 12. I'm several times that, and I thoroughly enjoy playing with it.When I requested this it was priced at £10.39 (£12.99 with a 20% discount in place). As I write this review it's priced at £10.99. In the interim I've seen it at £12.99 with a 30% discount in place, bringing it down to £9.09. £10 would be my absolute limit, even as a gift.
