Does anyone put this into fruit smoothies and can you taste it?

I've used it in fruit smoothies and coffee (cream and sugar) and it has zero taste to it. This is an excellent product. I'm older (69) and it has kept my joints in great shape. Just finished a whitewater rafting trip and 2.5 hour zip line course and I'm still going.

The company is based in Bloomingdale, Illinois, but they don't show any information about where the ingredients came from, or where the final product was made. Their website is www.nowfoods.com.

Is the glucosamine in this product derived from shellfish?

The label on the container includes the words, "Contains shellfish (crab, shrimp, lobster, crayfish)." But I don't know whether the glucosamine sulfate ingredient is actually derived from shellfish.
