Worth every rupee.
I already have a good phone and wanted a very basic mobile phone for emergencies without spending a fortune on it. At first, I bought iAir or something like that kind of brand but have to return it twice. That one was just for Rs.700 but totally 'Nulla' brand. Then I bought this Samsung mobile and I love it because of its simplicity and the battery. It does not have any of those features of the modern mobile phones. But it does one thing which it is suppose to do and that is to make and receive the calls! The battery life is beyond my wildest expectations. I bought it about 10 days ago and charged it just once and it still shows full battery! It has a dual sim card slot and all the ringtones are very powerful and loud. It comes with a torch light, FM radio (never tried it), 3 basic games, alarm features, etc. It also comes with an earphone which I personally did not like it as its ear lobes are very very large to fit. May be made for giants or elephants! But, I do not think that is an issue as I do not need it anyways for this type of basic phone. The finishing of the phone is smooth. The phone looks durable and will last for years to come. Look at the pictures to see how beautiful this mobile phone is.

Don't be a slave to technology. Make technology your slave!
I have bought this phone, maybe, four or five times in the last five years. A distraction-less device with two-days or more of battery and does what a phone is supposed to do: Make calls and send texts. You can abuse it as much as you want, drop it a hundred times and yet it will work flawlessly till you are ready to throw it away to buy a new one of the same, exact kind. I buy a new one when the keyboard wears out and starts wobbling after near-continuous use. Or if I lose it. When I lose it, most people are ready to give it back out of sympathy. I am now so familiar with the physical keyboard, that I can send messages without looking! (just taking a peek before hitting send, of course) It is almost an extension of my physical body and therefore, my mind! It has T9 predictive text input which is a big plus. When you drop it, the battery will pop out. So put a cellophane tape as soon as you get it so that you do not have to set the time and date over and over. Time and date have to be reset every time the battery is taken out. (a minor niggle)It is the only feature phone which can protect distinct areas of the phone's data such as messages, memos or call logs with a seven-digit password! So you can give the phone to someone to make a call without them nosing around. It is not that I am Snowden but all my one-time passwords come to this phone and I would not want it unprotected.I do carry a smartphone. But that is for the internet and Whatsapp and, a whole lot of distraction that comes with it.The photograph is after six months of use. I guess it is time for a new one.Update 28 Nov 2019: I bought another one when my wife machine-washed and tumble-dried the previous one (hopefully, by mistake). The phone still switched after the ordeal and lived for two more days before dying. The last two times, I bought them directly from the Samsung website because it was much cheaper (1300).After all these years, I still can't find a phone with a simpler user interface and that includes a Nokia 105.
