They swell to take the perfect size and you'll be wondering initially when you receive it but just open the plastic and they will take their shape filling on its own. It's vacuum packed I guess. Not for regular use for sleeping. They are reading pillows and not cotton so feels little synthetic bit at the price range itsa decent product.
