Tragic story with wonderful delivery loved the fiction and romanticism
When I started reading this book, just as it is first the front pages of the book tend and describe the people and characters in the story... I suggest keep looking for the character information whenever you got to see new characters. This is the story that describes the indulging and deep love between the Lover Romeo and beautiful Juliet. and other characters are also described and involved in good states. As the complete book is in the archaic state and words should be converted for every minute and many unknow words with great meaning hidden in it. At last, Shakespeare is best at it the poems involved in this are related and very much aesthetic.

Timeless writing!
The writing doesn't really need any reviews. It is beautiful, timeless and for people who scoff at Shakespeare's language- let me tell you- The more you read Shakespeare- the more you will find out that He was aware and wrote even about the minutest human emotion and therefore it is as relevant today as it was when it was written and so it shall be a thousand years from now. This is a small, almost pocket sized book. Strong spine and totally value for money. However, this book by Rupa publishers doesn't have any explanations or footnotes. Therefore, it might be, perhaps, unsuitable for someone who hasn't read Shakespeare before and who isn't accustomed to the language. I was okay with it because I have been reading Shakespeare since almost 2000, when I was in 7th standard. In the spirit of full disclosure, I do have another copy of the same play by Arden publishers. Romeo and Juliet by Arden publishers is for Rs 800(in the Indian market) with extensive footnotes, some history of the play and Elizabethan theater. However, it is also heavier and little cumbersome to carry around. In short following are the pros and cons of Romeo and Juliet by Rupa publishers-Pros- Pocket sized.- Cheap, value for money.-Light weight- Easy to carry around.Cons- Limited explanations.- No footnotes- Not suitable for introduction to beginners to Shakespeare.

Romeo and Juliet
I bought this book as I had to write an article on the characters of the story. It might surprise the reader of this review a bit, I couldn't connect to the story at all. Although it is one of the most famous book in romance genere, however, the way it is written, I didn't find it a great read, may be due the difference in the culture and people's behaviour the then compared with today's
