Carhartt Men's CTouch Work Glove

Better for practical and short use. Ineffective at Artic Temperatures.
I work outside for most of my shift standing out in the cold and I desperately needed gloves to be able to interact with touch screen devices. These gloves are not completely designed to keep your hands warm or waterproof. Once the temperature drops below 30°F I began to notice that I was having trouble keeping my hands warm. They do keep some water out, but not completely. I suggest using a water seal spray. The touchscreen interaction works well. These gloves look good, feel nice and are lightweight. However I suggest if you are working in artic temps then look for a pair of thermal gloves. Overall these are great gloves for driving or doing a quick job outside.

Great gloves..not sure about the Lining
I used the carhart fitting chart by measuring my palm. The problem with gloves usually for me is the pinky and ring finger are always too long. So I have to size down, but sometimes the palm is too short. I am 6 ft 240lbs if that helps at all. I ordered medium and they fit very well. The pinky is long, as I stated before that’s always the case. I don’t blame carhart. They say on the tag warm. These are the lowest level of warmth on the scale. It goes warm, warmer, warmest. This is carhart’s scale. I live in Southern California and really only need them for the morning and nighttime. They are great for walking my dog. The touch screen works great and the material covers the whole bottom of your hand. I strongly recommend you use the chart before you order anything carhart. Their sizing is all over the place. Use a string or wire to wrap around your palm then measure that. The bad part about these gloves is the liner. It is seen to to top of the finger but it has like a 1/2 inch of play. When I get done with my walk my hands are sweaty amd it’s hard to get my hands out without them liner following my hand out. I might even return these because of that. Even when my hands are dry it is a challenge to get my hands out without pulling out the liner. It is a real shame because I really like how they look and feel when they are on.

The gripping is pretty durable so I actually started using them as kind ...
Big fan of these gloves! I bought them to use as driving gloves but found they are capable of a lot more than that. The gripping is pretty durable so I actually started using them as kind of a workman's glove while helping move machinery out of our warehouse. I didn't pack workman's gloves so I pulled these out of my car and they worked fine. After I was done I washed them and they became my driving gloves again. They are warm enough to use as driving gloves, and lightweight enough that I can throw them in my pocket. I wouldn't trust them in the snow or extreme cold, but for something like driving or moving equipment where you need a good grip I would definitely recommend.

Great work gloves.
Husband LOVES these gloves. They are sturdy, machine washable, and protects his digits in cold and wet weather. You can't perform tasks that require fine manual dexterity in them (e.g. no texting) but unless you need that then I would highly recommend.Note: husband works for a company that delivers, picks up, and sorts HUGE loads of commercial textiles and he is a route driver so is always at the mercy of the weather.

“Everyday use” cold-weather gloves!
To start off, I like to keep my gloves dirty and my hands clean. So i bought these sort of as an “everyday use” glove. And so far they are working perfectly. For driving, handling gas pumps, and such is no problem (mainly what i use it for). I expect many years to come with these gloves and i am comfortable to use these gloves in cold and warm weather (not hot, summer, because these gloves don’t breathe much and can get stinky from time to time, so washing is adviced when gloves get real dirty).Love how it comes with the clip that can be attached to both of the gloves so you won’t lose one of the gloves (great addition!). And also the touchscreen capability of these gloves are OKAY. Not the most perfect, but it gets the job done. Don’t expect to be able to type paragraph lengths using these gloves... but other than that. Love these gloves! Would definitely buy another one, and recommend to a friend!

1 year update (Michigan winters..)
This review is based on my experience with these gloves after owning them for a year.Positive: They keep your hands fairly warm. I noticed with these gloves that my fingers wont get as cold in these compared to other gloves I own.Negatives: Stitching is falling apart at the tips of the fingers. Touch functionality no longer works. Grip material peeling off.-------------------Not long after I posted my original review(1 year after purchasing) these gloves completely fell apart. The stitching came apart on most of the fingers and they no longer we able to maintain any warmth. I did not use these gloved for anything particularly rough either. These gloves were primarily used for driving. I am downgrading my original 3 stars to a 1 star review.

Buy these
My life partner has to walk from one vegas casino parking lot to another casino to get to his job and vegas does get cold he would complain his hands were cold so I come from new Mexico where carhartt is life. I bought these for him and he loves them. He says they keeps his hands warm without the bulk of a glove. They have a grippy material on the palm and that is a huge plus. Carhartt never let's me down.

Good mild winter glove
This is my second pair, last ones lasted 2 years of daily wear in the winter months. These are a good 20 degree glove, any colder and you might want to add a light weight liner. Can't say I wore the last ones out, but the inside liner came un-sewn to the point I could not wear them. Hope I have better luck with the inside sewing on this pair.

Nice casual gloves but not durable
Good for casual activities. They are sort of lined on the inside with a soft comfy fabric which is a nice addition. However, I would say that they are on the larger side when it comes to size. I usually wear size LARGE in gloves. Following the size chart provided by Carthartt, I bought size MEDIUM and they are still a little too large for my liking.***EDIT*** After about a month of very casual usage, the wrist portion tore while I was putting them on. Definitly disappointed as it might be the last portion of the glove that I expected to be problematic...

No good.
Not very good, tried shoveling the walk in -10 weather and my fingertips were burning afterwards. Will keep your fingers warm for about 5-10 minutes outside. Also not comfortable at all, seems inside the gloves rub on your fingers and make it impossible to do things such as get your car keys out to get in the car. In other words , pretty useless.

dosent really work with the phone
It literally does not work with the phone, like at all. I dont know if Im doing anything wrong, surely I cannot I mean its as straightforward as it gets. My phone simply just dosent respond to it. But other than that, its a good glove!

Great choice!!
I love these gloves. They fit perfectly ! Before ordering I measured my hand to ensure proper sizing and I would suggest that sizing should be done before customers place their orders.

Great gloves for the price
I live in Montreal and I've been using those this fall. The temperature ranges from 0 to 15 degrees Celsius and I wear those gloves. They fit great and my hands stay warm. All good!
