I’ve done a few book nook and this is hands down the best brand! Directions were easy to follow, wood cut outs were thick and easy to remove, and comes with good quality glue (trust me, that matters). Will 100% buy another from this seller. The directions say aa batteries, but it actually takes aaa.

I love this book nook kit (Painter's Day at Dusk) and the seller is great! When I contacted the seller with an issue, they responded immediately and took care of it immediately. I love when companies care about their customers. I haven’t finished it yet, but it has been fun to build. You do have to be careful when you get out some of the tiny and delicate pieces, but the tool they provide for removing the pieces works great! This kit did come with the glue. I had read other reviews of other kits that showed the glue, but it wasn’t included. Also love that there is a downloadable PDF file of the instructions that is on this site. If you have trouble seeing some of the parts or instructions on the included instruction booklet, you can zoom in on the PDF file. I found that helpful on a couple of instructions as my eyes aren’t what they used to be. One of the reasons I got this kit, besides the Art Nouveau theme, is the dust cover. Dusting one of these kits would be hard with all those little pieces. I highly recommend this kit and the seller!

This was my first ever book nook. 4.5 star difficulty.The wood was good quality. Pieces popped out without damage. All supplies were included and the finished product looked like the picture.I would definitely buy this brand again.

This kit is electrical-ready and pieces fit together easily while still being strong enough to hold. Instructions were easy to understand and booklet is in 4-color. I also like the enclosed trinkets like the chandelier and booze bottle and glass. This came with the usual glue, sanding board, and tweezers.

This is my third MiniCity kit. I really enjoyed the other two, but this one had 2 serious problems. Some of the pieces, particularly the table legs in Block F, were so small and thin it was impossible to get them out without breaking them. I was able to glue the leg for the upstairs easel back together, but the single table leg for the upstairs small table was irreparable, and I had to leave that table out - just put an extra stack of books in its place. Finally, the sides, back and top pieces were misaligned. It wasn't simply a matter of filing down the tabs to make them fit in the slots. If one side was inserted correctly, the tabs on the other side were misaligned. I had to do a lot of actual cutting to get the sides, back and top to go together and they sitll don't fit that well or look that good.
