This camera has truly exceeded my expectations in several ways.First off, the 2K resolution is incredibly clear. This is a great value indoor camera. Good quality picture both in light and at night. Easy to set up with app and then easy to adjust angle, motion detection, notifications and other setting from app. The camera can sit on flat surface or comes with mounting hardware if you want to mount under cabinet or on a wall. With the adjustments of camera angle in app you can easy get the picture how you want it however you install it.The plug and cord and camera unit are of good quality and the app has worked with no issues so far. You can also set up several notification options and the camera/app is smart enough to know if the motion is a person/animal/motion so if you do not want alerts for all motion you can choose what you get notified and it will still record all. Also very easy to remove any recordings you do not want. Free short cloud storage with an option for a monthly fee for longer term cloud storage. For me it is easy to download any recordings I may want and delete the remaining with the free plan.

Very nice camera, you will not be disappointed.Even though is a small camera, it's sturdy and full of features.The camera comes very well-packed and protected. It comes with:• USB-A to USB-C cable.• A backplate for hanging the camera on the wall or ceiling.• USB-A wall adapter.• A small bag with wall anchors and screws.• The camera itself.• And easy to understand instructions.The app you need to get is called “VicoHome: Security Camera App”. This app is very well-made, and very user-friendly.Once you connect the camera to a power source, you can then set it to access your local Wi-Fi. This camera operates on the 2.4 GHz band. Installation is very simple, just follow the provided instructions.The camera comes with a mounting bracket, seems sturdy enough. I wouldn't use the provided wall anchors though, I would probably use larger ones. I didn't use the bracket in my case, I just placed the camera behind some photos in my living room, lol. Nonetheless, it was very nice of the manufacturer to provide wall anchors and screws.When my camera got connected to my Wi-Fi, it asked me to update the firmware, so I went ahead and did it. No issues there, and it only took a couple of minutes to update.Operating the camera with the app is actually a great experience. The camera responded very quickly when I tapped on the directional arrows. I was, honestly, impressed. I've used other apps that let you control devices via Bluetooth, and they don't come even close to the responsiveness of this camera and its app.The video quality is great, 2K is enough. If you need more than 2K video quality, you may have other surveillance issues and this camera isn't for you. But if you are only monitoring a kid, a pet, or an area inside your house, this camera is for you.Night vision and motion detection, are also great out of the box. Tweaking the settings for both of them is very easy through the app.Very happy with this camera :)

Just what I needed

The media could not be loaded. I love the camera so far. I’ve started the switch from zmodo, and my first impression about vicohome is great. The camera itself was easy to install, it moves quickly when you manually change position, and it follows the person when it triggers a motion record. The inage is clear and sound is great, will buy more!

This little camera is PERFECT!! Easy to set up and use. Literally follows every movement. Live view works great. I'm definitely buying a couple of more!! Highly recommend!

92% of the time the camera won’t let me watch the livestream, it will just say it’s connecting but never connect. This also means that I can’t change the view because it has to be connected to move the camera. I do get motion update videos. I bought it because I had to go out of town and wanted to keep an eye on my cats but when I tried to check, it wouldn’t connect. Buy it if you don’t need a livestream, otherwise save your money and don’t bother. Night vision, motion detection and picture quality are good when it does work.
