No jewels, just facts
Edited: my first review slammed this watch horrifically. After figuring out how to make it work the way I wanted it to it is doing much better. So much that my wife wants one as well. The big asset we wanted that this watch provides is it vibrates on our arm. My wife is deaf, I am hard of hearing- that lets us know when our phone is in a situation where it doesn't provide enough physical or audio signal that we have a text or a call coming in. I enjoy being able to do a quick text using the edited text options. I wanted to be able to use the watch and app to its fullest but found out quickly the activities section or physical fitness section was eating the battery of my phone quickly because it kept sending me notifications of how many times I had taken steps. For those that want that I'm sure there's a way to make it so that it only notifies you ever so often. For me I turned off the app, the only notifications I receive are calling and text. Facebook and all media is turned off. Unfortunately I didn't find instructions on how to do this I just did the we'll see if it works instruction and was able to correct the phone to where it works the way I want it. I do recommend this phone for those who are hearing impaired and on a fixed budget. Out the door it's around $23. Will buy it again and am. It was suggested to me to get a Bluetooth that I could leave in my ear all the time and that way when I received a text or call I would know about it because I can still hear a little bit. I need every little bit of that little hearing to function in life especially while I'm driving.

FINALLY!! A GREAT smart watch with text responding capabilities!
Ok, I must admit, when I saw all the 5 star reviews on this "cheaper" watch, I was REALLY skeptical. I need a smart watch for phone calls and RESPONDING to text messages (which is hard to find) as well as for receiving notifications. I don't need it for health tracking (as I have the ultrahuman ring for that). I've been looking for what seems like FOREVER for an affordable smart watch with text response capabilities. I've FINALLY FOUND IT!Anyway, I'm actually shocked! This is a really decent watch so far and has everything I need! The HaloFit companion app is really nice and allows for a lot of customization. You can customize the watch face, add your location for current weather, it has quick reply for text messages, which are customizable (I love this!) And this watch now allows for 30 contacts to be stored in the phone for quick calling. Most other third party smart watches only allow 8 to 10.The watch has notification sounds which is pleasant and you can adjust the sound or just turn it completely off. The vibration mode has 3 settings also and seems to get my attention nicely unlike other brands I've tried. The watch band is really nice and soft too. Very velvety soft and comfortable. So far my only beef with it is that I can't get the weather location to reset. The watch itself is showing weather for the neighboring city (which is only 15 minutes away) but the app shows my home location and city, so I'm not sure why that is. It's not a deal breaker for me though. I basically just want text and call capabilities which I have now!If you're looking for an affordable smart watch, you certainly need to give this a try. It's a lot of bang for only a few bucks.

A decent smart watch.
It's a nice relatively inexpensive smartwatch useful for tracking fitness goals and other tasks--it has a nice timer included and you can set multiple alarms. It will also send you alerts form other apps if you wish--I use it for news updates from one app.It also displays incoming calls--which I have been trying to cancel since I don't need that.

Affordable smart watch, I have bought 4, would purchase gain.
So far I have purchased 4 of these exact smart watches. They’re affordable and do the job. I was particularly looking for a watch that would accept text messages and make\receive phone calls. I have had only 1 of 4 screens crack and it is really treated roughly at work. I would say that they are pretty durable. I have since purchased a glass screen cover hoping it will help prolong the life of the watches but for this price I’m ok with banging it up a little compared to a real Apple watch or a more expensive brand. Easy to use and easy to set up through the app only, don’t set it up through your normal Bluetooth settings. I have never had it disconnect from the Bluetooth on my phone. Comfortable to wear. My mom is allergic to her watch band, it gave her a rash and we replaced it with a leather style now she wears it without any problems. The watch has a very long battery life, I only have to charge mine about once per week. Sleep tracking is a little off, sometimes if I get up in the middle of the night it restarts but not very often. Also, sometimes it says I’m awake longer than I am in the middle of the night or on the app it will say I have only slept 3 hours when I have slept all night. I can’t say how accurate the heart rate monitor is but it seems correct. The screen size and display quality are very good. I have no problems receiving notifications. Cons: I wish that the creator of the app would make more watch face options (especially one with a custom photo plus all of the typical info like heart rate, steps, battery, date, calories, etc. that are on many of the other faces). I also wish I could text any message from the watch instead of only preset messages, even if you had to use a speech to text option to achieve this. One last thing, I think it’s possible for this little watch to act as a “help I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” aid. I’m considering getting one for an elderly grandmother to access a phone call for help in case she can’t get to her phone. They are much cheaper than those type of products. Overall, I would recommend this product and will definitely be buying more.
