Make sure you look at sizing they are made to look like they fill up more space than they do and I knew that and they fixed my issue so win win for me

Okay for the price, but could be denser
The foam expanded fine, but it's not as dense as I'd hoped. Pretty much the same material as the basic acoustic foam squares that you stick on your walls to control high-frequency reflections. Bass traps tend to work best with more mass to absorb those long sound waves. Measurements are slightly uneven, as well, with the foam being 7" on one side and 6.5" along the other. Overall, better than nothing if you're on a tight budget, but don't expect too much.

Made a difference in a small home studio
We instantly noticed a very beneficial effect when installing these beefy bass traps in our small home recording area, very much helped to deaden the room.As we don’t have proper equipment to gauge audio changes, we realized on our ears, but all inspectors were impressed with the results.No odor, and honestly it was satisfying to open compressed pack! Price is very reasonable, especially considering the impact we noticed. 6 stars.
