not what anyone would expect
see my review of the companion kitchen detail book and substitute the word 'bathroom' for 'kitchen'. sigh - i wish more people would write reviews before i purchase books.

We decided to remodel our bathroom and though a book on contemporary bathrooms may help. The layout designs in this book are interesting and helpful enough, but to my eye the execution often ends in something quite ugly and it was surprising to see how little bathroom design has changed in the last 20 or 30 years.

Nice book, enough details. I got it for purely research reasons but still plenty to search inside. Only a bit confusing the layout but ok once you get used to it.
