Reasonable and great tasting - If you know how to make coffee properly of course!
This is a great product at under 200rs with only 20% chicory. The taste is great and the caffeine hit is strong. Of course it all depends on how you filter the coffee and how strong/mild you make it.If you are tasting burnt taste - Are you boiling the water with the coffee in it or putting water above 90C to 95C into coffee? That way you will cook any ground coffee. Best is to boil water first, wait few seconds to let the temp come down under 95C and then mix coffee with it. Do not boil water with coffee in it. That will cook the coffee and you will get burnt taste.

Good coffee, but with chicory !
The product is fine, if you like coffee which has chicory in it. I dislike chicory, did not see that it has 20% in it. Not the same as pure Arabica coffee beans, chicory is another plant and they use it as filler.

Coffee day coffee is probably the best brand on the Indian market today and is easy on the pocket too. It's a pity that it is not readily available except in Coffee Day's own stores and Amazon. This variety has only 20% chicory which means that it may taste a little odd for those who are used to only south Indian filter coffee. For these people I would suggest Coffee Day Bright Rich Fliter Coffee, 500g which has 35% chicory and makes for heavenly filter coffee. That said I loved this blend and my only complaint is that it is so frequently out of stock on Amazon.

Value for money filter coffee powder
For this price, this is really a fair buy. The taste is not bitter or muddish. If you want authentic south indian filter coffee taste cothas, leo, jayanthi would be the ideal choice. But this one wont disappoint you either, a lil more refined i would say, if you prefer that. Please never but ‘CCD’s Perfect Filter Coffee Powder’ its 50% chicory and it taste like mud, unless if you are into that.

Excellent coffee, much better than instant coffee.
Excellent coffee if you want to take the extra time. Rich and intense aroma. Remember to keep the coffee in an air-tight container, and don't open it too much (treat it like Tea). Here's how I make it.1. Heat up 200 ml of water just under boil (do not boil the water or the coffee will get cooked before brewing).2. Pour preferred amount of coffee ( I like my coffee to be strong, so I put one and half tea-spoon).3. Brew it for 4 minute.4. Use a cloth ( e.g. a clean handkerchief ) to filter the coffee into a glass ( Yes! You don't need expensive french presses ).5. Microwave the brewed coffee for 20 seconds.Enjoy!
