I could not recommend these pens more, I usually buy sketching pens just from local art/craft stores so i'm able to check them out. BUT my mom got me one of those reverse coloring books for christmas and usually we have sketching pens just littered around the house but WOW. These pens are fantastic. Usually when I use pens like this they dry out quick or doing long lines the ink runs out for some reason and it made me nervous to do long lines and sketch because of the use of others. These last forever and i had to completely change my sketching style because of the habit of using bad quality markers. They flow so smoothly with equal lines and no overflowing ink. They are also so pigmented, and dry very quickly. Also really add depth and shading to anything. I am so impressed with these and I can use them for anything. Getting 12 high quality pens for around $9 (on sale when I bought), it is such a steal and I really feel like I got my money's worth.

Purchased these during a black friday/cyber monday deal, bought two sets because it was such a good deal for so many sizes included. I'm used to using Sakura Ink Pigma Micron fine lines pens, if you use these this brand is similar but has some differences which were notable imho. These are slightly bigger around so your grip may be ever so slightly different, they also don't seem to be as smooth when making the super fine, fine lines. Otherwise they are great, I gave my extra pack I bought to a friend who has showed an interest in learning to draw. These aren't super expensive but aren't the cheapest option so they are great if you want to try with something more than dollar store fine line pens =)

I have been drawing with fineliner pens for several months now and in that time, I've purchased and used 5 different brands. I've wanted to eventually get some Micron pens, but after this set - I don't think I will have to! I am pleasantly impressed with how well these perform! They are comfortable to use, the ink dries very quickly, and you get a wonderful variety of nib sizes too. I've been using them for a while now and they're still going strong and because of that, I know that they are durable and well made. Considering how much you would pay for the same amount of Micron pens, I definitely think this is a much better and affordable route instead. And you won't be disappointed with how they work.

Some of the pens are dry, the angled pens. The fine point pens work well. Smooth writing and line making. For the pens that work the color quality is good and they dry quickly.
