The weaving can be done using various natural materials, including cane, rattan, willow, seagrass, water hyacinth, and many other types of plant fibers. **Q: What is this basket made of?** A: This basket is made from willow, a naturally smooth and pliable material. Its softness and flexibility make it ideal for crafting baskets and trays in a variety of shapes and sizes, allowing for both sturdy construction and intricate weaving. **Q: What is the difference between Rattan and Willow?** A: Rattan is typically a rougher material that requires steaming before it can be twisted and shaped. In contrast, willow baskets are made using the whole willow branch, resulting in a naturally glossy finish that adds to their smooth, refined look. **Q: Why are the listed sizes approximate?** A: Each piece is artisan-made, so slight variations in size and weave are to be expected. These differences add to the one-of-a-kind charm and authenticity of the product. **Q: Will the product look exactly the same as in the listing photo?** A: Colours may vary due to monitor settings and lighting during photography. The weave can differ slightly from piece to piece because each item is hand-crafted. We strive for accuracy, but natural variations are part of what makes each product unique. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Storage basket *by L***U on 13 January 2026* This is lovely, large enough for all of my towels and bedding and I have plenty of both, beautiful colour and the straps are a lovely touch, I would highly recommend this item, arrives in a large cardboard box that grandson has played in for hours ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wicker basket *by M***R on 27 June 2026* Love it, good size good quality and loons great in our new bathroom to keep towels, bedding and toilet rolls hidden so perfect for what we wanted ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Large Wicker Basket *by C***P on 27 September 2025* This is a beautifully crafted basket exuding old-world charm, but able to fit into any modern household setting as required.
