Pleasures of re-reading a favourite book series after 15 to 20 years
I re-read HP over the last 10 weeks, long after my original reading. It is amazing how little I remembered, how the places looked so different in my visualization then and now. This time the excitement was a bit less, I felt being bored and was skipping pages often. And I can list out a dozen points where JKR could have done better...But all said and done, the fact that I *finished* the 7 books, and fast, is a testament to the author's writing skills.I'll probably re-read after another 15 years! May be to my grand child?!

As usual...
As usual the book started interestingly, bored in the middle a bit for a super fantastic ending. Even the movie isn't that exciting as compared to the original novel. While Neville kills Naagini, it's portrayed as different events between the book & novel. So much of a difference, but then, the book wins!!
