Great replacement latch, but the lock is a little stiff.
Fits well in my 2009 Hyundai Sonata to replace the inside handle in the driver's door. Mine had broken the plastic retainer holding the stud at the end of the cable. The lock portion doesn't slide back and forth quite as well as the OEM, but that might just be that the OEM was 17 years old and had smoothed out over time. Regardless, it's stiffer on the locking mechanism and it doesn't lock as well using the remote anymore. I thought about taking off a star for not as smooth of a lock, but it's a great fit for a great price and I decided it's still worth 5 stars. Half the price of a local parts store and they'd take a week and order it anyway.

I was able to save a lot of money by purchasing this item online and then taking it to my mechanic to install. It works perfect perfectly. According to my mechanic, it would’ve been exactly what he would’ve ordered except for the company I went through they literally charge over $100 more just to order the part. He told me to get the parts from Amazon. I was flabbergasted. I highly recommend this product. It was installed perfect perfectly with an amazing fit. Great value for the price.

Now we can get out of the car like normal people..
Happy to get this little piece of perfection to my car. On the passenger side the passenger could not get out of the car had to roll the windows down and then reach out there and and do the door that was very difficult. Very happy I got that part I finally trying to get it in working order but it's a good car so it's worth it I'm title my money and it was a long time getting it but I finally gave in. It is very durable strongly built the price is right functionality is right it is black so it goes with your interior it should anyway. And it was easy for My grandson to install it so I was happy I had trouble I was going to try to but I couldn't. But he did it with ease.
