I recently got back from a trip to Alaska that included the most miserable day of backpacking I've ever experienced. Rainy, cold, muddy and slippery. It rained all day and we were hiking through mud. The trail was overgrown with bushes and weeds scraping at our legs. These pants held up to it all. They didn't feel especially sweaty inside. They did eventually let a little bit of water in, but then so did my much more expensive gore-tex jacket and hiking boots. All day in the rain was too much for any waterproofing, apparently. Nobody made it out completely dry.Still, these pants made a valiant effort and did at least as well as my gore-tex jacket. I like the zippered ankles and velcro cuffs. It makes it possible to put these on and take them off over hiking boots. The zippered pockets are a very good feature as well. I kept my phone in one, and while it had some moisture on it, it wasn't soaking wet. Good enough.The only bad thing I have to say about them, is they are little bulky and heavy for backpacking. Not real bad, but they aren't a thin outer shell type rain pant that I have used in the past.Overall, I give these 5 stars. They are excellent for the price and perform as well as much more expensive rain gear.

They fit and I stay dry. So all good.

These pants feel and look awesome. I’m a dog groomer so I get water and hair on me all day. I haven’t wore these to work yet but I can tell they will be good for what I need them for. The only reason I rate these 4 stars instead of 5 is cause all of my clothes are size XL and after ordering from multiple different companies for pants like these the XL was way too small. I went with a 2XL on these to be safe and they did fit perfectly but at that point runs small so definitely size up.

It is much larger than the size mentioned and it is just not such good quality for the price.

your get the zipper at the leg bottom and the bottoms are wide so you can easily slip over hiking boots then zip up the leg opening. good for on the go.

Lightweight and comfortable

Time will tell but I wore these though two days of heavy wind and rain for several hours and remained surprisingly dry. I generally spend 5x for rain pants and get a couple years of steady use, we'll see how these hold up over time but thus far they are pretty good!

Seem fine. I bought them for a week long bike trip and didn't need them, but they were good dinsurance.
