It’s a cute notebook got it as a gift for a friend

I wish I'd have purchased the large size due to handwriting issues I now struggle with. But for many, this small version is perfect for tucking in a small purse, backpack, or even coat pockets. This small version is approximately the size of my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra phone, for hight and pretty close in width. The journal is just a wee bit wider. It truly is the perfect size if you prefer compact designed or sized books, and journals. I love Clever Fox products because they are always excellent quality. This Self Care Journal is no exception. It offers many different daily options to track, such as water and coffee intake, a variety of different question prompts, mood tracking and much, much more! Comes with a Quick Start Guide, blank pages at the back for jotting down quotes or doodling etc, 3 Ribbon Bookmarks in different shades of the journal cover color, Elastic for keeping the journal closed, Elastic loop for holding a pen, 3 sheets of mostly handy stickers and an envelope in the back for storing the stickers and anything else you might want to store inside such as money, credit cards etc.. I forgot to check how many pages there are, but I'd guess that there's enough for a year of days you feel like it entries, or 4 months of daily entries. On that note, you enter the dates of your entries. This journal isn't pre dated for you. The leather cover is excellent quality, and the stamped Fox logo looks very classy. The color is a beautiful rich jewel tone without looking garish. I couldn't decide between the purple or the turquoise color. Regardless, no matter the color you choose, you'll be very happy with it. I really like that the daily prompts aren't the same for each day. Personally I find some of the stickers rather useless/silly in not a good way, and wish there were a few extra sheets of the super useful ones. If I remember correctly, Clever Fox also sells sticker packs/refills for a decent price. But of course any brand of related sticker packs, will work fantastic too. I wasn't sure if I would care for this Clever Fox Self Care version, but I am really impressed with all of the very thoughtfully laid out options this journal provides. (I've included a few photos of samples for what different days look like. Not sure why my photos didn't turn out as they should have). Normally I would absolutely love the compact size of this small version, but as mentioned, I've recently been struggling with writing due to a new medical condition that affects the use of my dominant hand, and arm. So I wish I'd have spent the extra $10 for the large version. No matter which size you choose for your personal needs and preferences, you'll be happy with your purchase. The price for Clever Fox products are on the steep side, but they are excellent value for the money, and you simply cannot beat the quality. The paper is also of excellent quality. Highly recommend this neat, useful and thought provoking journal! Plus it isn't overwhelming, or off putting like some daily self care journals can be. If you have been sitting on the fence, go for it! If you know someone who is working on their mental health, or working on becoming better at proper self care, this journal will make for an awesome, caring 🎁 gift. Perfect for people of all ages, from late teens to 60+. Perfect as a New Years gift as well. This is by far the best journal I've come across for me. Love the prompting questions (each day they differ). Love the layout and size. Its not overwhelming to journal. I am an overthinker and a waffler which I am trying to get out of the habit of and this journal has some space to record how I am feeling each day. The space is enough to write my most important points without being excessive. The little water, fruit and veg trackers for each day are useful (could do with outlines being printed darker). Schedule is prefect layout, so is the monthly calendars. Bookmarks are helpful and the stickers adds a bit of fun. Its sturdy and perfect for my handbags.

This little books looks gorgeous, but it’s too small for me to be comfortable to write in as I prefer a larger surface. Also don’t use all the preprinted headings etc. That’s entirely my fault.

Very well made and handy. Easy to use and you actually want to use this journal; even if journaling isn’t your thing… as I ! Much smaller than anticipated which makes it easy to carry so still a great, high quality and useful purchase. The color is beautiful as well.
