The poem starts with one thought and leaves you with another. This stirs a lot of thoughts and emotions at the same time, making the poem stay with the reader a little longer. The variety of themes in the poem make it an enjoyable read for different types of poetry readers. My favourite poems from the book are Alas, the Daughter Today! , Love: A Mysticism?, Buddies and Social or Unsocial Media?Since the book did not have a particular theme, I felt there could have been so many ways the poems could have been delivered that readers would love coming back to them again and again. Some parts of the poems were so powerful that they hijacked the whole poem.
