The handle broke off after 2 months of use and now the machine doesn’t want to work. What a waste!

Great baby food maker
So far I love this blender/steamer for making my baby’s food! It’s so easy to use! Only downside is you have to continuously press the blend button so it can blend the food, but once you figure that out it’s great! Very strong blending capabilities! Have been able to make some yummy food for my baby.

It’s ok
I was really excited by the idea of this product and when I first pulled it out of the box, it looked nice. The first difficulty I ran into was when I went to clean it before the first use. In the instruction manual it said the jar part is dishwasher safe, but the sealing valve is not. It looked like the sealing valve was attached to the jar part per the pictures in the instruction manual, but there was no way to take apart the bottom of the jar and I’m unsure where the sealing valve could have been, so I ended up handwashing everything to be safe.Use was ok. I did an auto cycle and the default was 15 minutes to steam. I put a cup of peas in and a cup of water. I probably used too much water because I wasn’t sure and there was no recipe book or anything. I looked it up online and the first site I found said add a cup of water when using a food processor. This resulted in pea water instead of puréed pea. What I did like about the machine was the auto cycle. To be able to steam and blend in one step and one container is convenient. However, after it did its blending cycle, the peas were mostly pureed into the water but I noticed there were still little chunks, it looked like some of the pea skin. The last time I made baby food for my oldest, I used a Nutribullet and I don’t remember any chunks.I did like how easy it was to add water to the main part of the unit, you just fill the jar to the max line, and in the compartment for water for the steamer there’s another max line, it’s impossible to mess up and I appreciate that! When the cycle was complete, I detached the jar and picked it up and noticed pea water had leaked onto the machine and my counter. That was the biggest reason for deducting stars. It could’ve been more dramatic leakage because my peas were so watery but it seems like it must not be sealed very well and I’m not sure how it leaked or where from but that makes me wonder if food is going into places I can’t easily clean because you can’t submerge the main part of the unit in water.
