I've had this shampoo conditioner set for a couple months now. I love this shampoo so far. First, I do not use this shampoo everyday. When I notice the tell tell signs of mineral/ iron buildup,...i.e. yellow/orange brassiness, dry, harder to manage, not soft, etc. I use this shampoo and conditioner to tackle the problem. First, I think the shampoo lathers just fine, however, if you're used to shampoo with sulfates, I imagine it's not the lather you're use to. Second, hard water causes everything to lather less, not just shampoo. We have a water softener, I never use sulfates on my hair, I thought it lathered just fine. The scent is nice, but not perfumey. It does not eliminate all the yuck in one washing. I will use this for about a week washing my hair every other day. But I notice people telling me after a couple washes that my hair looks lighter. Like another reviewer, I leave the shampoo on for about 5 minutes in the shower, then I rinse and put the conditioner on the ends from my shoulders to tips for about another 5 minutes. I am pleased with the result. Another thing I like to do is use the hair mask, from this same company/ brand. I slather it generously all over my hair, while it's dry, being sure to saturate every stand. I put a clear plastic hair cap on my hair and I leave that on for 20 to 30 minutes. Then I rinse it well, wash it with this shampoo, followed by this conditioner, and rinse well. The result has been soft and shiny, mineral free hair.

My last deep cleaning shampoo didn't lather or move around on my scalp. I had strategically place the globs to deep clean it. This shampoo works well, it does later and deep clean the hair and scalp. I haven't tried it for chlorine hair from swimming, so I can't tell you if it works for that well or not. Worth the money.

I've used this twice and it appears that it works. My hair is easier to comb and is not breaking as much. Fingers crossed that it continues to improve. Oh, and the lather is good, too.

My hair loved this product…me, too. I have very hard water and my hair was suffering. After one use my hair was 60% improved. Softer and even had a natural shine…at 68 years old that is impressive. I will recommend and buy again.

We have hard well water and I’ve been struggling with my hair. It was so stressful brushing it that I hated doing it. I had so many tangles due to the hard water. I bought this and after the first use, I could already tell a huge difference! My hair felt lighter, easy to brush through and overall felt better and healthier. Worth it 100%!! I can even go a couple days in between washes and it still feels like I just washed my hair.

Works well. This product lathers up pretty good, and makes my hair feel nice and soft and manageable. When using this shampoo, my hair doesn't tangle up on the ends, this helps to maintain the color of my color treated hair, and this shampoo makes my hair feel squeaky clean. I would buy this item again it's worth the money spent.

This is the worst shampoo and conditioner I have ever used.I have well water and I have use low end Suave to High end Ouai shampoo and conditioners, as well as various other clarifying shampoos and conditioners. Suave was superior to whatever junk they put into these bottles.No suds, no conditioning. Hair gummed up. I had to wash my hair twice to remove whatever was in the bottles.Whatever is in these bottles seems to be some cheap base with labels added. Way worse than shampoo in motels.Additionally for 40 dollars, I received bottles with lumpy labels.I purchased this set because RHRI Hard Water shampoo and conditioner was out of stock on Amazon (highly recommend, if RHRI returns with those)
