It actually works!
I have tried EVERYTHING for my acne. EVERYTHING. Nuetrogena, La Roche-Posay, Differin Gel, Alba Botanica's acne dote, random stuff from the store, a mix of cetiphil soap and hibbacleanse (is that how you spell it?), and even nothing at all. Everything either gave me a permanent sunburn, made my skin peel/flake, or gave me more acne. Ever since I was 12 years old, I've been searching and searching for the right product. I think this is it. I ordered the regular strength travel size, and I love it. The first thing you will notice about Paula's Choice trial size is that it is, well, tiny. The bottles are VERY small. But don't let that get you down. I found that the small size is actually helpful, because it helps you conserve the product and not use too much, which could cause irritation. Tip: The instructions on the bottle may not always be the instructions for your skin. What I mean by this is that sometimes we all can be very tempted to follow the "use one to three times a day" instructions the brand gives us, though our skin is individual and unique and may require more or less, depending on skin sensitivity, severity of acne, etc. I started using the cleanser in the evening, then I washed with a normal cleanser the next morning, and then I used the cleanser, toner, and treatment, that evening. The next day, I started using the cleanser and toner in the morning and all three of them at night. That is what I have been doing for the past 3 weeks, and there is still about 1-2 weeks left I think in the bottles! The next thing I want to say is IT DOES NOT WORK MIRACLES! It's not going to just magically clear up your acne overnight. it's going to take time, and you're going to have to have some patience. I've been using it for three weeks and have seen some great improvement! But the first 1-4 days I didn't see much of a difference at all. I have really, really bad acne on the sides of my face and on my chin/jaw area. I get pimples a lot on my cheeks and forehead too, but the chin/jaw and sides of my face near my ears has the worst acne; with bright, big, red and very painful pimples. This acne treatment really helped prevent new pimples from forming, it made the existing ones smaller and less painful, and it makes my skin feel and look way better. I'm not really sure what the anti-redness stuff does, but the other things have helped. One last tip: Make sure you have a good face sunscreen and moisturizer before using this. Benzoyl peroxide is known to dry out your skin and make it more prone to sunburns. So, grab yourself a really great sunscreen that won't cause acne, and a moisturizer that is you a rich, and non-greasy. I use Alba Botanica's aloe and green tea moisturizer, and it is absolutely perfect with this product. Bottom Line: Get your skin used to this treatment before you use it full-on, have patience, and team it with good moisture and sun protection! I totally recommend this product, so if you're still on the fence, GET IT! The trial size is very low-commitment, and won't make your acne worse, so there's really no reason NOT to try this! Hope your story is as happy as mine! :)

Worth it ❄️
This set is a winter staple for me, especially with combination skin that leans dry in colder months. It effectively keeps breakouts under control without over-drying or irritating my skin. The products work well together to maintain clarity while still feeling gentle and balanced. My skin stays calm, clear, and more even when I use this consistently, which is not always easy to find in acne-focused routines during winter. If you have combination skin and struggle with breakouts in the dry season, this is a reliable, well-formulated set.

Impressed( I only gave 4 stars because it’s a little pricey)
So I knew nothing about this brand when I stumbled upon it and I decided to purchase the travel size to test it out. I would consider my skin combination. I get dry and peely between my eyebrows and I get blackheads and a little oily on my nose. After using this face wash religiously until it was completely empty lol I noticed a dramatic change in my pore size. It didn’t erase my blackheads and doesn’t advertise that it does but it significantly minimized my pores. I should have taken before and after photos because I feel they would really display how well this product has worked for me. The second step in the set is like a toner in a way and the 3rd step is like a moisturizer. Normally moisturizers make my skin oily looking or just don’t moisturize at all but this one is perfect. It leaves my skin looking amazing even after a long day of work. Also it doesn’t say it’s a moisturizer but the 3rd steps consistency is definitely moisturizer like. I will definitely be purchasing the full size and I will most like purchase the deep exfoliant(gray bottle) one as well. Also for anyone sensitive to sent this didn’t really have a scent. I’m not sensitive to scent and would love if this had a scent but scent definitely isn’t a deal breaker for me.

I'm honestly amazed
I never had acne growing up, but now that I'm in my 30s it has become a constant frustrating and embarrassing battle. I was spending hundreds of dollars every month on expensive products that swore they'd help but nothing was keeping it at bay, especially hormonal acne due to my cycle. I am so glad I found this set and really wish I took before and after pictures (I didn't because I didn't actually think it would be this drastic of a change - it was an immediately noticeable difference! My skin was clearer by Day 2). I've been using it for a month now, PM only unless I feel breakouts coming on (and if I use it in the AM I use lots of sunscreen!). I went from having about 8-9 deep and stubborn pimples at a time to 0. This week I just got my first three pimples since picking up the product but where they used to stick around for a week to a month each, now they disappear after a day. It's amazing. I also have multiple dark post-acne marks so I contacted Paula's Choice and they recommended the 10% Azelaic Acid treatment, so I layer that on as well in the evenings, after the benzoyl peroxide step, and before moisturizer (I got the PC CLEAR B3, blueberry and licorice moisturizer). This set has been the only thing in a year of trying products that is actually helping. I am crossing my fingers that it keeps working! It also doesn't have any scent that I can detect. I originally bought the trial set and after about a week knew I wanted the full size so now use the trial size for traveling. The picture shows them side by side (as well as the extras I bought) with a pen for scale. The trial size is definitely tiny, but it's supposed to be! That's the point of a trial size. A small amount to test out. I feel it's the perfect size for a trial/travel pack. Also, (at least where I am) if I order early enough it has all come with same-day delivery or at the latest next day, and I like that it's actually sold from the "Paula's Choice Skincare" store on Amazon, so I know the products are genuine. As a note, the 2% Salicylic Acid that PC sells in the gray bottle is a similar formula to the CLEAR Regular Strength 2% Salicylic Acid, but not identical (I called their customer service and asked because I had other questions as well). It is a bit more watery in texture. The gray bottle is a thicker formula, and IIRC from my phone call *is* identical to the Salicylic Acid in the Extra Strength kit. Just FYI for anyone else who was curious.
