The mat is made of the same material that mouse pads are, so it's basically a giant mouse pad (no good for stopping dirt from being tracked through the house). The pattern was also transferred poorly, so the wording and balloons are blurry and stretched funny directions. Not only is it not functional for what I was looking for, but it isn't even cute because of the bad transfer. I didn't bother to send it back because it wasn't a free return. It does function as a good mat in front of the sink to make that more comfortable, but as soon as it needs to be cleaned I am probably just going to throw it away.
