Got this to protect my Honda Passport from the yearly acorn and branch shedding from a giant oak tree over my driveway. Acorns can do some serious damage to your vehicle, which I discovered the hard way on a previous vehicle.I wanted a cover that had some sort of padding. This cover does the trick. It's essentially a foam/padded layer on top, with thinner standard car cover skirts on the lower areas. I'd estimate the foam areas are 3/16" to 1/4" thick. No idea what size hail this would protect against, but I am pretty sure it's going to be fine for the annual acorn assault.Seems to be sewn together well. No clue on durability and longevity of course, but I feel like I got what I paid for considering the price of the thinner, non-padded car covers.Obviously fit is going to vary by vehicle, but I used their measurement guide and it appears to be accurate.The straps are basically, "wrap it around the whole car", which is kind of odd. This would benefit from some straps that can be hooked into the wheels, and clipped to the cover.It came with a storage bag, which is cheaply made but likely sufficient. The folded cover has a lot of bulk due to the foam padded areas.
