Balanced taste
I actually took the suggestion on the bottle and tried this mixed with vodka as opposed to whiskey and it is absolutely delicious. It is citrusy and tangy, but not too sour. It is very balanced and easy to drink. The suggestion is a 1:1 ratio of the mixer and your alcohol of choice, but I think you could increase the mixer if desired. I also liked adding some soda water to add a little fizz.

Looks Nice But Completely Unexpected
I did not like the whiskey sour. That was the first time I ever tried it and it turned me off. I let me family try it and they said it was okay. I would never get this for myself and I don't recommend anyone who has never tried whiskey sour before to get this. If you like whiskey sours though, you might enjoy this. My partner said it was fine and it was just how he expected it to taste. This also comes with a lot, so you'll get your bang for your buck. It also looks like with all of your other alcohol if you have a case.

Makes bartending a little easier.
We have a regular house guest who, whenever asked if they'd like a drink, requests a whiskey sour. They don't come often, so I don't always have a fresh lemon on hand. I don't like to use lemon juice concentrate, and the simple syrup is a not hard, but feels like a chore. When I saw this Classic Whiskey Sour mix, I realized how easy it would be to have it on hand all the time. The ingredients are about the same as I would use, with the addition of orange juice. In fact, I like the sweet orange, along with the sour lemon, better than just lemon alone. It's really good. Glad I found it.

Needed more that bottle recommends
This makes a decent tasting whiskey sour so the flavor is there but the 1-1 ratio whiskey to sour mix isn't enough for me. I use 2 shots sour mix to 1 shot whiskey to get it tasting right. Using twice as much means the value isn't there for me which then makes only about 4 drinks from one bottle.

A good solid sour mix (and nice in mocktails, too)
I love sour cocktails, especially amaretto sours, and this sour mix does not disappoint. It has bright citrus notes contrasted by the licorice-like bitters. I mixed it with some citrus-flavored selzer water, and it made a lovely, bright, summery mocktail. I can't say that this is the best sour mix I have tried, but it is nevertheless a solid one.

Absolutely delicious craft mix, refrigeration required
Umm, yes. As a former bartender I can tell you that this Cocktail Crate Classic Whiskey Sour mix is so much better than the typical sour mixes that bars/restaurants have. This has real, fresh ingredients in it like oranges, lemon, bitters and simple syrup. Because they use fresh ingredients, this does require refrigeration after opening.I used this with a rye whiskey (good ol Fleischmans) which is just a standard rye. The resulting drink tasted fresh and delicious and had a nice balance between sweet and sour. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients.

Better with Tequila
I’ve never had a Whiskey Sour before. I tried this with Evan Williams. It was okay but not something I would regularly drink. Please note that I am not much of a whiskey drinker though. The label said to try it with tequila, rum, or vodka as well. I tried it with a silver tequila. To me it tasted much better that way.
