Ouran High School Host Club - The Complete Series - Blu-ray

When I received this yesterday, I was happy first of all so I wouldn't have to rely upon Disney+ (where I just finished watching it as part of the bundle with Hulu), and that I would have a physical copy. As I always do, I checked all of the discs to make sure they worked. And there were no problems there. The newly-produced dub is really good, but it is so well-done that it overrides any of the original Japanese audio elements (including music), at least from what I can tell. So, personally, I turned to the sub instead, and it was as good as I remember from watching it on the aforementioned streaming service. If you enjoyed watching the series either on there, or when it originally came out, I'd definitely recommend it. I know this series isn't perfect, and I'm not sure if the dub tries to remove the transphobic wording used by Haruhi's crossdressing father, but it if it does, then that is a positive! In any case, this series remains influential to this day, even influencing those who created My Adventures with Superman (as evident from one of the episode titles).

The animation looks stunning in high definition, making every hilarious and heartfelt moment even more enjoyable. The colors are vibrant, and the audio quality is crisp, enhancing both the iconic soundtrack and the fantastic voice acting!
